After more than a year, we recently reunited in-person & on the heels of our man date we're back at last with a tangent-filled, wide-reaching conversation that brought out a lot of laughter, tin foil hats & our best dating/fatherly advice. With a new recap series coming soon (covering the Netflix #RealityTV show 'Selling Sunset') we treated this episode as a catch-up pod while chatting about topics which include: what we're watching ('Serenity' starring Matthew McConaughey & the HBO doc 'Leaving Neverland'), podcast & book suggestions, whether the great pyramid was a part of a consciousness raising initiation during ancient times, demons haunting Geoff's dreams (along with the new protective charm he keeps under his pillow), how to step up your at-home barista game & @ 46:08 "20 topics to talk about with women that will spark great conversations." How does our advice compare to theadultmale.com? How can you use the "5 questions game" as the ultimate tool to get whatever you want? It's all here! & as always, reach out with your feedback because we love to hear from you. Shouts to best-friend-of-the-pod Jeff Goldblum! #BestieChat #eandgpodcast

On this episode, we talk all about the Oscar-nominated movie "A Star Is Born." This is the fourth version of this film, but it's the first for us so move over Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand & Janet Gaynor (whoever you are, what were the 1800s like madam?) it's time for Lady Gaga who may or may not have been involved in the "fall" of Lina Morgana. Kris Kristofferson, you're one K-lettered middle name away from having the worst initials ever so we'd rather have Bradley Cooper to swoon over. There were a lot of homages Bradley Cooper threw in to his version of #AStarIsBorn that are pretty interesting. We cover them & also, did you cry? What would you rate the movie 1-10? How crappy was Ally to her awesome boss at the restaurant who bent over backwards to let her pursue her career? The E & G singing contest is back! Let us know who earned your vote. #Shallow #AlternateEndingColtonLosesHisVirginity

  • Special Edition: 'The GK Show' Interview with Pete Giovine

My buddy Pete Giovine is the first guest on The GK Show. Pete is a super funny comedian as well as former host of Beacher’s Madhouse in New York City, Las Vegas, and Hollywood. Not only is he one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet he has some of the best stories as well. On this episode we discuss how he was able to get a job when he moved to NYC because his criminal court judge father called in a favor to a connected friend in the city. Total Italian stereotype!

He waited tables for people like Robert DeNiro while at the same time starting out in stand up comedy as well as forming a sketch group that practiced on Saturday Night Live’s stage. When one of the members of Next Monday left their script for a sketch on set the sketch ended up on SNL the next week. Pete also talks about which Hollywood celebs were a bit needy, smoking golden wrapped joints with Miley Cyrus, Bill Burr crediting Beacher’s Madhouse for his iconic rant in Philadelphia which sprung him to stardom, and dating Stormy Daniels while now President Donald Trump infamously paid her for sex.

Famous actresses Felicity Huffman & Lori Laughlin were among many wealthy parents recently caught in a major college admissions scam. On this episode, we're chatting about their legal case while also discussing how money influences college admissions, why people go to college in the first place, our college experiences, favorite college movies & much more! Wait until you hear us get deep into the "more." Ian & Geoff (who's writing this? Someone's writing in third person & I think it's Ian. Sincerely, Geoff) had completely different college experiences. For example, Ian finished & Geoff dropped out like a loser. We discuss classes & teachers we had, parties, dorm life & Geoff's record setting Division 3 basketball career (1.4PPG, 1.1APG, 0.5MPG). Ian may or may not have slept with a community college professor to receive a marketing certificate that didn't even go towards his degree (but should have). Thank you for reading the description for this podcast. The winning PowerBall numbers will be 5, 11, 26, 29, 52 & 10. Ian's personal phone number is: (213) 555-0250

Two weeks after the birth of Ian's son Milo & we're back! Milo Holden Gulbransen is happy & healthy as is Ian's wife so it's on to #FantasySuites & a man who's never had a pregnancy scare in his life, Colton "The Virgin" Underwood!! Will he have sex? EVER?! It's all I (Geoff) can think about. On this episode, we're chatting all about what we saw with Tayshia; including her "lack of physical intimacy" with Colton during her overnight date. Next up was Hannah G, PSYCH! Hannah gets no paycheck for episode 9 because it was all about Cassie breaking up with Colton while he had his lucky condom in his Velcro wallet. She wasn't feeling the marriage vibes with Colton especially after production flew out her father to orchestrate the first televised #InternationalCockBlock on a virgin no less! Leading Colton to finally jump the fence & proceed to go full Truman Burbank. Chris Harrison is on the hunt with his perfect jogging form (as I've always expected), but what's going to happen when he finds him? Somewhere Mike Fleiss must be burning down a joint, giggling to himself on top of a pile of well-deserved cash as this plays out exactly how producers hoped. The question is, what will they think of next? #TheBachelor #ColtonBurbank #GetInTheVan #CondomShopping #Caelynn4Bachelorette

On this episode, we're chatting about Queen & their legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury while discussing whether the biopic #BohemianRhapsody (which is an Oscar front-runner) ultimately fell short. There's no argument that Rami Malek delivered an epic performance, but was the band's preference to "protect their legacy" to the detriment of viewers seeing more of the #FreddieMercury life story? We disagreed on the answer during this podcast, which led to a fun conversation that also included debate about the rock vs. disco scene in the 70s, fate & destiny in everyday people's lives, what made Sacha Baron Cohen walk away from the film prior to Rami Malek landing the role of a lifetime, the talent it takes to be a performer (even if you're blessed with a great singing voice) & much more! So, if you could possess any one talent or ability, what would YOU choose? Shouts to Chelsea Handler. #SexyGPS #ShootYourShot #DontStopMeNow

Just over half of Americans (54%) are expected to celebrate #ValentinesDay this year, spending $1 billion on greeting cards alone! So, how did this holiday come to be & does anyone actually enjoy going out to a crowded restaurant with a limited, overpriced prix fixe menu? On this episode, we're chatting about the origins of Valentine's Day, giving/receiving Valentine's in elementary school, the mind-blowing experience of being in a stretch limo as a kid, whether it's appropriate to ask a stranger about their sex life, the downside of sharing your birthday with a holiday & much more. Special shout-out to the greeting card industry for making a $10 piece of folded paper a reality ...I don't like it! #OldManEd #NakedBabyDaddy #PlatonicValentines #HappyValentinesDay

Let's talk about sex, MAYBE? American teenagers & young adults are having less sex than the generations before them, even though technology & dating apps should be making it easier than ever to find a romantic partner. Why is that? On this episode, we're chatting about the future of sex, sex education in elementary school, our personal experiences & the diverse ways cultures around the world have viewed sex throughout time. It's no surprise that Japan has fascinating ways to get your rocks off in 2019, but what do you make of AI sex robots? Do you believe the people who say they've had sexual encounters with aliens?! Grab a glass of wine, put on something cute, spread your (ear)holes & let us slide inside your heads with a fresh perspective. #WhoompThereItIs #SexChat

Did you feel bad for the people who got conned into attending the #DumpsterFyre that was Fyre Festival? Billed as the cultural experience of the decade, millennials believed they were heading to a private island with beautiful models, luxury accommodations, yachts, music & gourmet food. Instead, they were welcomed by yellow school buses, FEMA tents, cheese sandwiches & arguably the biggest douche in the universe, Billy McFarland. On this episode, we’re breaking down the competing documentaries from Hulu & Netflix while also chatting about the GoFundMe to support Maryann Rolle (which has raised over $200K), Evian's new spokesman, how to portray a fantasy lifestyle on Instagram, where the blame should be placed, whether Ja Rule cut a deal (wasn’t it his vision?!), what we would have done if we found ourselves pulling up to #FyreFestival & much more! #V1 #FyreFraud

With a gorgeous smile & some facial scruff, Deanie Babies recently said that "none of these Bachelor relationships are real!" Which of course triggered a rush of comments from #BachelorNation ranging from shots at Dean's saltiness to blind support for America's favorite competition show #TheBachelor ...could there be truth in his remarks? On this episode, we're chatting about the manufacturing of #RealityTV relationships while discussing the new romance between Kaitlyn Bristowe & Jason Tartick (who live streams an entire first date btw?!) along with week 2 of Colton's journey to lose his virginity on national television @ 47:55. Demi is stirring the pot (which Ian loves), Elyse got the group date rose for her bravery at being 31 years old (with Geoff has thoughts about) & we're anxiously awaiting The Miss USA ladies eventual 2-on-1 date where Miss Alabama will likely lose again. So, do you agree that the lack of drinking has resulted in less "natural drama" & shit talking amongst the cast? How would you rate Colton's kissing game? #TheBachelor is back! & on this episode, we get kicked off chatting about the new viewing party format featuring multiple #BachelorNation alums as co-hosts ...Goose & Coach Krystal of course were featured in a small body of water, which makes sense because they're the thirstiest, while meanwhile Blake & Jason were with #BachelorNation where we got to awkwardly watch as Brittany undressed them both with her eyes, in front of her emotionally beat-down boyfriend David no less (was that her husband btw?! Not for long). As always, we are #SpoilerFree on this podcast & when we move into discussing Colton, we were way less interested in his virginity being used as a gimmick & instead focused on: grading his performance as the lead, this season's forced villain (who just won't stop interrupting), recovering from being awkward in fourth grade, the age of Colton's front-runners, Aussie accents, whether Bachelor social media has peaked & much more. Do you agree that the emotional tribute to Chris Harrison made it seem like this is his last season with the franchise? At one point, Chris even praised Jared Haibon's "hosting chops" leading us to speculate that he's next in-line to take over ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Call our hotline or send us a message, we want to hear your take! #EntertainingSpace #EdTheJanitor #PocketRocket #VirginBachelor #LetsTalkAboutIt

If the ending of 'Bird Box' left you scratching your head, we're here to help! Because with so many questions left open for debate, there's a multitude of ways you can interpret the meaning & symbolism found in Netflix's most popular original film to date. Sandra Bullock says that 'Bird Box' depicts a new kind of "warrior mother" & while some viewers see a story about a woman overcoming severe depression (perhaps postpartum), we're left asking, "where are the monsters?" Could they be figurative (inner demons)? Will the blind really lead us into the future? Were the people who didn't commit suicide malicious or did they just want everyone to see how beautiful "it" all is? If that's the case, shouldn't they have been riding bicycles in short-sleeved white shirts with ties? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!?! Join us on our search for answers. #HappyNewYear #Eyefolds #BlindfoldChallenge #MenOnFilms

On this episode, we're getting into the holiday spirit while chatting about Geoff's birthday & childhood experience being the Jewish kid watching his friends devastation when they found out Santa isn't real, whether the idea of "mall Santa" is weird & outdated, Elon Musk's mission to eliminate “soul-destroying" traffic, a billion-dollar idea for an app that tells you how often you're being checked out, how insane it must have been trying to locate & buy the must-have kids toy in the 90s, what makes Tim Allen's Santa portrayal so good, how Ian is preparing for his son's arrival & much more! #TurboMan #CruisingOnChristmas #BoringCompany #MerryChristmas #ILoveYouMan

Why are millennials being blamed for killing countless industries? Could it be that change is inevitable & businesses need to adapt to survive? Or, perhaps we're just broke & these "industries" suck. On this episode, we're breaking down the latest statistics to find out; while also chatting about the financial priorities of millennials, whether having too many options is a bad thing, the need for transparency regarding job placement & prescription drugs, why you're not a mall unless you have a 'Hot Dog on a Stick', the 5-for-2 trade-off, egotism & debt traps, the inconvenience of cereal, online gaming, victim mentality & @ 1:06:10 we wrap with a deep-dive discussion into the 18 industries millennials are "wreaking havoc on" according to Business Insider. #Breastaurants #BestIEverHad #GetOffMyLawn #Millennials #TangentsOnTangents

  • Hey all E & G listeners, this is a teaser episode for my new podcast. I plan on putting out at least three per week so I'd love it if at the very least you could go rate it five stars and hopefully subscribe and tell your friends. Just search "The GK Show" on iTunes. Thanks! -Geoff

    __________

I'm very happy to finally get this new podcast up and running. This episode is a quick teaser of what's to come. Going forward I will have on all sorts of interesting guests from comedians, actors, authors, producers, and basically anyone I find interesting. Every show will be different; sometimes I'll be covering topics of the day, sometimes I'll have guests, sometimes I'll vent or talk about what happened at my recent shows (brawl, drunk lady fell down face down ass up in the middle of my set, etc), and it will always be fun and goofy.

Tell your friends and please follow me on IG and Twitter: @geoffkeith on YouTube.com/KeithKomic and you can always email me with love or hate at [email protected]. If it's hate please put "Hate" in the subject line so I know to take a deep breath before ignoring it.

Also, check out my other podcast with @iangulbransen "The E & G Podcast" wherever you listen to podcasts.

On this episode, Ian & Geoff talk about the disturbing HBO documentary 'Beware the Slenderman' which chronicles the story of two Wisconsin 12-year-old girls who attempted to murder their best friend in order to ingratiate themselves with a fictional character they were obsessed with from the Internet. Getting away from the horrific story of these two girls, the guys focus much of their debate on how large a role the parents had to play & chat about parenting in general, how they were raised, bullying, how much fault/blame should go to the parents when a child does something wrong, the blowback that comes when kids are given too many rules & much more. Be sure to reference our show notes & get in touch, we'd love to hear your thoughts! #100% #ItsRainingMen #Slenderman #Parenthood #ManTears #DontHaveACowMan

  • Special Edition: #BachelorBonusPod

The new Bachelor, Colton Underwood, is a virgin. So what? We all know Colton & we've known since before Paradise, during Paradise & from the day his thumbnail picture went up online as one of Becca's suitors, that Colton (who seems like a nice guy) will be crammed down our throats harder than a ball gag in Pulp Fiction #VingRhames ...this season's catchphrase, "What Does He Have to Lose?" along with the constant promos about him being a virgin has a lot of #BachelorNation throwing up. What do Ian & Geoff have to say about it all? Why has #TheBachelor decided to make this a thing? Is Colton lying about his virginity? Is the most interesting thing about Colton the fact that he's a virgin? Or, perhaps Colton is selling out his integrity by letting the franchise exploit his still-in-tact man cherry...listen & then join the conversation by getting in touch through email or social media. #VirginBachelor #1237BJs #PuppyLove #WillTheseRescuesGetSavedByColton #AlwaysInGoodFun #TheBachelor

On this episode, Geoff's daughter Leia drops by to make a special appearance & we discuss the struggle of choosing the perfect baby name (@ 2:24), whether the battle over "what should we have for dinner?" diminishes with age #Debatable & if variety really is the “spice of life” when it comes to diet (@ 13:15). People magazine recently published a list of celebrities who claim to eat the same thing every day & in addition to reviewing the highlights (@ 23:10) we're also chatting about Thanksgiving traditions (@ 1:04:48), 'This is Us' season 3 (@ 1:11:18), our review of 'Crazy Rich Asians' (@ 1:29:42), the allure of HGTV's 'Caribbean Life' (@ 1:36:30) & much more! The hit docuseries 'Making a Murderer' was a global phenomenon for Netflix in 2015. Season two released last month & on this episode, we're bringing everyone up to speed (in case you have zero familiarity with this case) as we discuss coerced confessions, the federal appeals process & all the new evidence (& debunked evidence) found by superstar attorney Kathleen Zellner. So many opinions about Steven Avery, Brendan Dassey, Ken Kratz, Barbara Tadych, Bobby & Bryan Dassey, Earl Avery (where the f*@# was that guy season one?!), Laura Nirider, etc. Initially we were led to believe, at the very least, Steven and Brendan got f*&$@# with a medium-sized penis #ReasonableDoubt ...however, as the evidence continued to pile up against #ManitowocCounty it seems this flesh dragon was more on the huge side & it was absolutely shoved straight up their chocolate makers. #MakingAMurderer #PrisonReform
