  • In this week's episode, I speak to Lisa Valentine. Lisa generously shares her experience of loss through losing a loved one as a child and more recently the death of her fiancé and the lessons she learned about how to deal with grief. We talk about how grief and death are often not dealt with in the modern world. We discuss how things may externally appear to look back to normal but that our internal landscapes might still be deep in dealing with our loss. We explore why it can be easier to share grief with strangers rather than family and friends and the importance of communication around death and grief. Listen in as Lisa shares how she wanted to live and experience the things that those she had lost could no longer. We talk about approaching conversations about our deaths and celebrations and also finding love after loss. I hope that this conversation helps you to explore some of these issues further for yourself.
    About Lisa:
After being raised Christian family, Lisa has spent the past decade finding her feet in the world of spirituality, spending lots of time connecting with nature, and using herbs, crystals, the moon cycle and tarot in her practice. She is learning to hone her intuition and enjoys meeting others who share her passions. She has experienced loss, most notably through the sudden death of her fiance in 2014 when they were both 30 years old. This changed her views on life forever and provided a new outlook. She is a trainee journalist and spends time writing about feminism, sustainably and social justice.

We also talk about the powerful space of women's circles and finding safe and supportive pockets of the internet. • This week sees the start of a new series all about neurodiversity. I begin the conversation with Helen Grace McGregor who is a neurosparkly courage cultivator. Helen shares with us how she leads with intuition and what takes its place when she doesn't. We talk about being a child who was not seen or heard and how she looks back now to ask her younger self 'what do you need?' We consider the path of pursuing a diagnosis of ADHD and what the answer it gives us helps us to do. We look at the difference between Helen's wilderness years and her current third chapter and how her ADHD diagnosis has enabled her to find new ways to live and to look for validation in healthier places. This is a beautiful episode where Helen so eloquently describes her experience of being neurosparkly.
    About Helen:
Helen Grace MacGregor is a Writer, Facilitator, Qoya teacher and Courage Cultivator.
She is on a mission to gently encourage soulful and neurodiverse women to honour their call to create, through permission-rich practices that satisfy their soul and nourish their nervous system.
Having created multiple programmes, written her own book and contributed to several others, Helen recently discovered that her multi-passionate, creative, should-free approach to life can be explained by the fact she’s unknowingly lived with inattentive ADHD and dyspraxia for over 5 decades.
Now, whilst editing her second book, The Midlife Awakening, Helen is combining her embodied knowledge and lived experiences into a new body of work to help women get what matters to them done. Even if like her, they’ve spent their lifetime struggling with shoulds, self-esteem and systems.
Helen believes it’s never too late to create, and your soul work doesn’t have to wait.
Which is why she’s creating introvert-friendly spaces for soulful women to embrace their enoughness and express their innate creativity, so they can flourish in a world that equates worth with productivity.
One simple, soulful, should-free step at a time.

Kylie generously helps us to explore what conscious means linked to kink and we talk about leaving judgement behind, people pleasing and removing labels to give endless possibilities. She discusses the difference between producing her work for the male gaze and female gaze and how this has changed for her over time. We consider the relationship between us and our sexuality and how she creates a container for vulnerability and helping people to feel safe. This episode will support you to explore your own thoughts around sexuality, being conscious and connected.

  • In this week's episode, I speak with PR expert Sarah Lloyd. We hear her story of climbing the corporate PR ladder and what followed after having children from post natal depression to moving on from the corporate world. Sarah talks about the importance of storytelling, sharing with us a powerful story featuring a helicopter pilot and the Grand Canyon (I won't spoil the full story here!). Her shift to working within the world of spirituality and the vulnerability that came along with it is a powerful journey and one that we can all learn from. New communities, trust, abundance, PR and learning to melt knowledge with spirituality are all features of today's conversation.
    About Sarah:
Sarah Lloyd is a cheerleader for the Divine Feminine. And also an award winning PR expert, author, writer, radio show host and mum of two.
In the media and PR business for 25 years, Sarah quit her global corporate role in 2017, in a bid to be a master of her own destiny, follow her passions and to bring a better balance to life. ISPR was created and now serves entrepreneurs & authors, mind, body & spirit brands, innovative technology and health & wellbeing businesses.
In March 2020 Sarah’s book Connecting the Dots – ‘A Guide to making Magic with the Media’ was published via the UnBound Press. She also presented the ‘Connecting the Dots’ Shows on Wellbeing Radio – her show explored all the ways you could share your story, on your terms, in all areas of your life.
Sarah is proud to be the Publicist for The UnBound Press - a publishing imprint for Unbound Women. She was also invited to become a judge in the Soul & Spirit Awards for three years running - and was a regular columnist on the Power of Connection for Soul & Spirit Magazine.
Not content with that; Sarah also curated the book Wake Up Mother in Feb 2023, a collection of stories and wisdom shared by Mothers for Mothers. The Wake Up Mother Community is a circle of Women who have come together to heal the world through storytelling on substack, in circle and via the radio show ‘Mother Speaks” on UK Health Radio.
Over the years Sarah has worked with a mix of innovators and change makers - often those who are years ahead in their thinking – including authors, event organisers and entrepreneurs as well as small and large businesses – to build awareness of their brands and products in a magical and purposeful way.

  • In this week's episode I talk to Ceryn Rowntree about rekindling HER stories. This episode is a fascinating consideration about the male narrative we hear throughout history. We discuss the stories we hear as young girls and the impact they have on us and how they can often be unhelpful. We discuss the HERstories that Ceryn is retelling of powerful women that have often been painted in a negative light, forgotten or stripped of their true meaning. We discuss Lilith and her powerful place in the world and Ceryn introduces us to Scota, who was introduced to me for the first time in this podcast! This conversation shows us that the stories we tell to girls and women are important can be truly powerful and life changing.
    About Ceryn:
Ceryn Rowntree is a Medium, Therapist and Soul Guide aiming to spread a balanced and grounded approach to spirituality and Soul work across the Western world.
