Peace Y'all. We're back with the latest episode of THE JUST RECORD PODCAST. For this edition of the podcast, we have the honor of an all Brazilian vinyl mix by Freshwater. I first got hip to the homie through his incredible "Thank You Madlib" mix. A mix of all original 45 sampled by the legendary producer. We actually ended up meeting at Music Research Library in Providence, RI and got to chop it up. After he dropped his last Madlib inspired mix (Invazion in India) I knew I had to ask him to do an episode of the podcast. Freshwater has blessed us with over an hour of rare Brazilian grooves. The homie dug DEEP in the crates for this one and I can't thank him enough for this mix. Buckle up for this one. You are about to board a flight to Brazil courtesy of Freshwater International Sound Library.

We're back at it again with a brand new episode of THE JUST RECORDS PODCAST. This one is real special. As our special guest we have Zak and Vas from Music Research Library. Zak and Vas set up shop in Providence, Rhode Island 5 years ago and in that short time Music Research Library have become one of the best record shops on the planet. Not only are they good people but their music knowledge knows no bounds. It was truly an honor to have them both come through and record on of my favorite episodes. This episode is an experience to say the list. Not only did they bless us with over any hour of incredible music, They also debuted from Progressive Jazz-Rock trio "Zamova". A group made up of Zak, Vas and renowned producer Motif Alumni. It's not an understatement to tell you that this mix is journey like no other. A big thank you to Zak and Vas for coming through.
TURN THIS ONE ALL THE WAY UP!!!!
As always, thank you for listening

Peace y'all. We're back with another addition of Jesse Racusen's Golden Ear Series. Volume 2 is all about that funk. That backyard boogie vibe that reminds of warm weather, BBQ's and good vibes all around. Turn this one all the way up and you might forget how cold it is outside.
As always, peace and thank you for listening

For this weeks episode I decided to revisit a mix I did a couple years back. The Third Eye Vision is a 37 minute psychedelic journey through sound. I figured this podcast would be the perfect place to share this mix. Enjoy the trippy sounds and thank you for listening. It's much appreciated.

Peace Y'all. If you've been turning in to The Just Records Podcast since the beginning you'll remember episode 2 from Illustrator / Graphic Designer / All around art wizard Jesse Racusen. Since then Jesse has put together 12 Shorter mixes in a series titled "The Golden Ear" These mixes are so dope and need to be heard so I decided that Jesse will be holding a residency at The Just Records Podcast. We'll still have regular episodes from myself and different guest but once a month We'll be dropping a volume from the Golden Ear series. Big ups to Jesse for letting us host this mixes on the podcast and I hope you enjoy these mini episodes.

Peace y'all. Another episode of "The Just Records Podcast" is here and this one is real special. This month we have a guest mix from none other than VA's own The Ologist. My man is a top notch crate digger, producer and a hell of a dj. His skill and excellent ear are on full display on project like Welcome To Brasil – Psych e Funk Brasileiro and Funk e Soul Brasileiro his own radio titled Sound Flights on Universal Rhythms. He really put his foot in this mix. Enjoy the selection of sounds present by my homie The Ologist.
Turn this up LOUD!!!
Peace and thank you for listening

If you don't know, get on your job and do your research on the New Jersey legend. I hope you guys enjoy this episode as much as I do. Peace and as always, Thank you for listening

Peace y’all. We’re back it’s another episode of THE JUST RECORDS PODCAST. I can’t believe we’re at episode 10! Thank you so much for listening. This month we have a special guest mix by the incredible BeatNick Dee. I’ve known Dee for quite sometime know. He is a crate digger in the truest sense. The man knows his records (which I cop from him from time to time). He’s been putting work for years dropping his incredible “International Breaks” series and his recent Prisma Music Library. He’s also quite the established producer who’s worked with the likes of Blu, Fredwreck, Ras Kass and more. Today we have the privilege of listening to an all vinyl mix he put together for the podcast so sit back and enjoy because he killed this mix. As always, thank you for listening.

It’s been a long time but the podcast is back. I hope you’ve all been well during this crazy time but I feel like an outlet like the podcast is needed. Not to take any attention from what’s going on but to maybe offer a moment of release through music. Psych, Jazz, funk and more. Stay tuned for more episodes from myself and some of the homie.
Peace and thank you for listening

Episode 5 is here and it’s a special one. For this episode ew have Boston legend, DJ 7L of 7L & Esoteric, The DJ crew known as “The Bladerunners, and as part of the trio know as “Czarface” I remember moving to Massachussets and one of the first underground Hip-hop records I heard on 88.9 was “Speaking Real Words”. Ever since then I’ve been a fan throughout the years and eventually got a chance to meet 7L and chop it up at his records shop, Vinyl Index at the Bow Market in Somerville. It’s an honor to have him do a mix for the podcast and he killed it. This is a perfect mix for you folks working from home to vibe to and take a break from chaos thats going on right now. Open your ears and enjoy the sounds provided by 7L. As always, Thank you for listening
