Welcome to the first episode of The Lift Smart Podcast
My name is Sam Hall - I'm a competitive powerlifter, head coach and gym owner of Ethos Strength in Adelaide, SA
I come from a teaching background, so to me one of my biggest motivations in working with people is helping them through experiences that educate them - lifting smart isn't just about burying your head in academia.
It's about knowing what parts of lifting actually work when you put the rubber to the road in the pursuit of putting together your best possible powerlifting performance, but also taking the time to appreciate the subtle, often amazing things that the human body is capable of
I hope you all take a lot from my own experiences and musings as a coach as we speak to developing coaches, experienced professionals and a range of other guests across the weeks
