She has a fellowship in laryngology and care of the professional voice, and a master’s degree in science specializing in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is an otolaryngologist and associate scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital, and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.
