Today we had the privilege of bringing on Yoga and Recovery Specialist, Kara McConaghy!
Kara has spent her life in the athletic performance world and today she comes on to talk more on recovery, and the different variables that are involved. ( Yes, quarterbacks, parents, and coaches there are some ways for us to take ownership in our own performance! :) :) )
Kara has 4 children who play competitive sports. Injuries are part of the game, but here what she has done to overcome some of these issues and an amazing device she is using to speed up the recovery process! Fantastic episode you do not want to miss!

Today we had the privilege of sitting down with Offensive Coaching great, Al Borges! Al will be joining the team of Coaches at the 2022 Quarterback Coaching Convention on May 7th in Nashville, TN ( more information below)!
Al has been all over the country coaching quarterbacks and offense! From different stints in California ( UCLA : 1996-2000, CAL: 2001-2003, San Diego State: 2008, San Jose State: 2015) to back up North East at the University of Michigan. He has coached several elite quarterbacks including: 1st round draft picks in Cade McNown and Jason Campbell. Al was also the Offensive Coordinator under Tommy Tuberville during Auburn's 2004 run to a Sugar Bowl and 13-0 season. He has since decided to write a book called " Deny the Tiger"! Today Dusty was lucky enough to sit down with former college football great and current Offensive Quality Control Assistant, Seth Doege.
Seth was a gunslinger at Texas Tech University! He set multiple school and NCAA records while shredding defenses in Mike Leach's air raid! Tune in today as Seth comes on to talk about his experiences with the quarterback position and how he is giving back to his players NOW. Topics today include:

The docs were lucky enough to sit down with strength and conditioning expert, Mike Tucker on today's episode! Mike is an up and coming star in the S&C world who enters his 3rd season as the head football strength coach at Villanova University.

Today we were lucky enough to sit down with former Kentucky and Boston College quarterback great, Patrick Towles. Pat was a standout high school quarterback out of the state of Kentucky where he was a 4 star prospect and Mr. Football award winner. Pat went on to have a very successful career at Kentucky and currently is 6th on their career passing yards and 8th in career touchdown passes ( without his senior year).
Pat went through some ups and downs like many quarterbacks and today he comes on to share his experiences and how those experiences are helping him with his work NOW! You do not want to miss this episode. Topics today include:

Today we were lucky enough to sit down with the 5 quarterbacks on roster at Columbia University. These guys were a lot of fun to have on and brought a lot of valuable information for parents and players who are striving to become college quarterbacks!
Topics today include:
How the guys are handling COVID-19 and the obstacles they are facing during this quarantine period. The schedule they face right now/ what a normal Spring looks like for the Columbia Football program. What obstacles each of these guys faced and overcame their freshman year while learning to become a student athlete. " Becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable" The dynamic of the quarterback room. 1 guy can play, how this plays out between the entire quarterback room. Accepting injuries and the experiences they faced outside of the simple physical aspect. The idea of leadership and how they are handling it with multiple guys playing over the last 2 years. Each players idea of leadership and what separates good leaders from great leaders. ( The docs shake up their answers :) ) What "Sacrifice" means to each of these young men and the things they have had to sacrifice to get where they are! ( Great stuff here!) The guys answer tough questions in the quarterback room and they are not allowed to vote for themselves... tune in!This was an awesome episode to record and we had a lot of fun putting it together!
