In this episode, I have a very special guest - my mother! I helped her overhaul the family mountain home, getting it ready to generate more vacation rental income and also to put on the market to sell. We did everything from changing the layout to painting furniture and walls, all in four days!

This week I'm talking to one of my first design clients, Julie Falconer, a travel blogger who has been working from home for many years, so the set up in her flat needed to consider that space requirement. We talk through the challenges she faced moving in with no existing furniture, and how to approach this is if you are in a similar situation!

Sometimes it's helpful just to talk through your plans with someone, and hear their renovation story - so today I'm talking to someone who is about to undergo a home extension, turning a two-bed flat into a three-bed.

I'm back with the lovely and multi-talented Anne Schwarz, of @anneschwarzphoto and @thewildbackyard on Instagram. She shares her top tips from her experience as an architectural photographer on how to make your home look its best in images.

In the second episode, I don't have a guest, so I talk to myself. I'd like to think my muse is Julie Nolke, a YouTube creator who does really funny sketches, and in the pandemic these have mostly been with herself acting two parts, which is fantastic. I'm not quite that talented, but hopefully, this episode is helpful for anyone planning their kitchen and looking for insight into how to design it, where to find the right kitchen supplier, and answers to other general questions.
