A podcast in which a group of music fans picks a rock album (anything from soft rock to hard rock to heavy metal) and spends the episode talking about it and reviewing it. Informative, opinionated, and occasionally funny, the show highlights our genuine love (or hate) for the music discussed. Frequently guests ("co-pilots") co-host the show with with our regular rotating panel. Rock on!

Grizabella was the wrong cat to die. After seeing CATS the Musical for the first time in July of 2016, podcast host Mike Abrams was filled with a whirlwind of emotions. He was amused, confused, and a little angry. Almost exactly three years later when the 2019 CATS movie trailer came out, Mike had enough. It was time to speak his truth – Grizabella was the wrong Cat to Die at the Jellicle Ball. In this podcast, Mike interviews CATS cast members, CATS superfans, CATS haters, and explores the backstories of the Jellicle characters all to make a case for why they were more worthy to ascend to the Heaviside Layer than Grizabella.Part of the Broadway Podcast Network.

Eurobliss, since 2013, is the ultimate lip-smackin' thirst-quenchin' Eurovision chat show, hosted by Andy Earnshaw, Juan Donoso Casanellas & Mark Dowd, three of Eurovisions craziest, greatest and long standing fans. Do you ever wonder what ever happened to those lost songs of Eurovisions gone by? Each month Eurobliss unearths forgotten classics and will take you for a trip down amnesia lane to remind you of a huge fistful of songs you seriously thought, and in some cases hoped, you would never ever hear again. There is always plenty of drama and lots of controversy, interesting facts and, above all, loads of laughs as your hosts guzzle prosecco and politely disagree with each other. Featuring annual preview and postmortem shows, Desert Island Disc-syle shows and regular in-depth discussions by country....and dont forget Eurovision began in 1956 so there is a catalogue of over 1,800 songs from 51 countries to choose from....the longer it goes on, the happier we are!!

History in Five Songs with Martin Popoff is the show that aims to make grand and often oddball hard rock and heavy metal points through a narrative built upon the tiny idea of a quintet of songs. Buttressed with illustrative clips, Martin argues quickly and succinctly why these songs - and the specific sections of these tracks - support his mad professor premise, from the wobbly invention of an “American” heavy metal, to the influence of Led Zeppelin in hair metal or to more succinct topics like tapping and twin leads. The songs serve as bricks, but Martin slathers plenty of mortar. At the end, hopefully he has a sturdy house in which this week’s theory can reside unbothered by the elements. At approximately 7000, Martin has had published in books more record reviews than anybody in the history of music writing across all genres. Additionally, Martin has penned approximately 85 books on hard rock, heavy metal, classic rock and record collecting. Proud part of Pantheon - the podcast network for music lovers.
