The dominating news story is the departure of Liam Rosenior as manager, while we also cover the final day of the season, as City struggled to put up a fight against a Plymouth side fighting to stay up. A comfortable WBA win meant it was all academic as the sun sets on another season. How does the squad look for a tilt next season?________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

We couldn't, could we? 4 points from Cov and Ipswich has City daring to dream as a West Brom loss to Preston would open the door to the unlikeliest of play off pushes as we head into the final day with it all to play for.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

Another penalty miss proved costly as City couldn't break down Watford in what was a must win game. The slim play off hopes have become slimmer, and while not mathematically out of it, anything other than a win against Coventry would confirm our race is run for the season.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A draw with Boro and comprehensive win against QPR mean it was 4 points when City probably needed 6 to stay in the Play Off race, however a WBA loss to Sunderland does leave the door somewhat ajar if they were to drop any further points on the run home. Watford this weekend is, as always, a must win to keep asking the question.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

Cardiff are the side that keep on giving as City made it 6 in a row against the Bluebirds thanks to a Fabio Carvalho double and Philogene sealer. City now come up against MIddlesbrough and QPR in order to keep their slim play off chances alive.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A disappointing Easter saw City capitulate against Stoke, with results not going in our favour on Monday with our loss against Leeds putting play off chances firmly on the back burner. All we can do is get back to winning ways and hope results go in our favour, starting with Cardiff this weekend.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

The Tigers Down Under look back on the first half of our first season back in the Championship following relegation, with Leonid Slutsky taking charge and the majority of the squad looking for the exit doors.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

We're back after a short hiatus to recap on three recent draws with Preston North End, Birmingham and Leicester City, three draws of varying respectfulness. After the imposed International/FA Cup break, City return to action over Easter against Stoke and Leeds in two games that could prove pivotal to our play off chances.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A stellar strike from Carvalho meant that the honours were even against WBA in a game City couldn't lose. Another game City can't afford to lose faces us this weekend against a rejuvenated Preston North End, before a mid-week trip to welcome Birmingham City, managed by a fourth different manager for the fourth clash of the season.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

What a week to be a City supporter! With a last minute winner at Huddersfield on the weekend followed up by a sensational performance against Southampton mid-week, City now find themselves in the Top 6 and a legitimate contender to finish up there. We also look ahead to West Brom in what proves to be a crucial fixture on the weekend.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A flat, awful home performance against Swansea was followed by going down early against Rotherham and could have seen City in a stick position as other sides around them picked up results, but a Philogene moment of brilliance before a well taken goal from new boy Noah Ohio spared City's blushes and saw us make it 2 wins in 3.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A first glimpse at several new signings and the return of Jaden Philogene highlighted a 1-0 win over Millwall which could have been much more given the way the side started the game. Plum fixtures against Swansea and Rotherham give City the chance to keep the ball rolling.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A strong and gritty win against Sunderland prior to CIty's mini-'Winter break' saw City enter the final days of the transfer window buoyed by the three points. A flurry of activity is on the agenda with Ivor Pandur, Noah Ohio and Ryan Giles confirmed since the full time whistle, with Abdulkadir Omur flying over for a medical. Millwall await on the weekend for what could be a quite refreshed City side.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

The Tigers Down Under look back on the second half of the most recent season spent in the Premier League, as Marco Silva tried his best to keep us up with the help of his loan army.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

Worrying form continues for City with a frustrating loss to Norwich on Friday night, before a late heartbreak against Birmingham in the FA Cup replay despite a valiant effort from a largely under-age City side. Sunderland are our opponents this week on another Friday night fixture before a welcome week off from league action.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A drab draw in the FA Cup highlighted by Matty Jacob's debut goal for City and Billy Sharp's debut was overshadowed by more significant off-field news with some transfer incomings as well as injury news dominating the focus. Norwich this Friday night/Saturday morning looms on the horizon as City look to snap a poor run of form.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

A mixed bag to round out 2023 and welcome in the New Year as City held on for a strong result against Blackburn, a side we seem to take a delight in beating in recent times, before a poor defeat to Blackburn not helped by a controversial red card. It's the FA Cup this weekend, and the transfer window is now open.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

From 2-1 up against Bristol City to taking no points over the Christmas period is a disappointing result for City, with injuries beginning to become problematic once more. A final game in 2023 against Blackburn awaits before Sheff Wednesday early in the New Year.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus

Recovering from an early set-back against Boro, City went on to crush a woeful Cardiff City 3-0 at the MKM to record back to back victories heading into the busy Christmas period.________________________________________________Twitter: https://twitter.com/HullCityAFCAusFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aussi...Instagram: hull.city.aus
