Her foundation also plays a role in creating income opportunities for families in slums & rural parts of Kenya. If there is ever one fashion designer who knows how weddings have been interrupted and impacted by covid 19 is Shaazia Adams. She is the talented, fashion designer based in Mozambique. Shaazia, specializes in designing wedding gowns but has since launched a sustainable brand called Mina.
Jessica met Shaazia at South African Fashion week a couple of years ago. She has styled, using her own pieces, for some of the fashion magazine covers while Jessica was was still working for publications back then. She can attest to the talent at hand and craftsmanship. Today, we are looking forward to hearing all about Mina, the sister brand she has created. Jessica started the interview by asking Shaazia how does she stays organised.
