Jason Blyth's home, full of violence and volatility, caused an atmosphere whereby he was petrified as a child. The result meant he spent much of his childhood living with his grandparents and many years of countless visitations to psychiatrists. His first visit at just 33 months old. He left âhomeâ a broken youth. Physically and emotionally abused, a life full of trauma, he spent the next fifteen years searching for a connection, a place in the world and a place he could feel a sense of worth.
Sadly, this only resulted in more destruction in his life, and those he associated with. Nonetheless, in those early years he had a small light that shone and he became a world class inline speed skater. He won multiple national championships, representing New Zealand on the international stage for a period of six years. As a gifted athlete, Jason played soccer in New Zealandâs National Youth League, as well as winning many swimming titles, triathlons, and the list goes on. This provided an outlet for survival as he continued to battle with the scars of his childhood. Sport taught him discipline, which Jason attributes to becoming necessary for his survival.
He left home at fifteen, and by sixteen, he had dropped out of school. Jason quickly entered a life of depression, full of anxiety and anger. He would give up on his skating at seventeen years, and instead indulged in drinking and partying to excess. It wouldnât be long before Jason began building a career in music, which eventually would lead him to travel to Hollywood, to record music with world class producers. Desperate to please, succeed and belong, he found himself engulfed in a world of darkness that he had never experienced before.
He found himself mixing in the occult, where he was following some of the most prominent leaders in the time. It almost cost him everything, including his life. By 2018, Jasonâs life had completely collapsed, he had actually gone from bad to worse. Having lost all hope, he checked himself into a psychiatric ward and then celebrated his 30th birthday in rehab.
During this time, Jason began to read an instruction book on life and how best to deal with its challenges. He had plenty, so it needed to be a good book⊠it needed to hold good news for this young man.
He began to read the bible. From there everything (and we mean everything) changed.
Jason is now unrecognisable as a person, compared to his former life. Through Godâs amazing grace, Jason has overcome the destructive habits, and behaviours that had him chained to a position devoid of hope and life.
Jason is now focused on sharing his life story to give hope to those who are struggling. Showing through his experience, not just theory, that people can have hope. Showing that they can change and can lead fulfilling lives in this very challenging world.

On July 16, 2021, Montana firefighter Dan Steffensen was burned over while trying to outrun a wall of fire. He suffered 3rd degree burns over 60% of his body. He should have died that night.
After waking from a coma at the Utah burn center, Dan prayed to God. And just possibly, God answered by sending him a thousand angels in rescue, medicine, honor guards, therapy, workmanâs comp, friends, and family.
This is not just a fire story. Itâs a human story about the town of Red Lodge, Montana, during what is still called the âSummer of Hell,â when Danâs burnover was just one of many horrific tragedies. It is about firefighters and their families and how they responded when, as Dan says, âShit happens fast.â
Though there may be challenging pieces in the pages, to quote Chief Tom Kuntz: âWe sleep well at night because 1) Dan knew what he was doing and did the right thing in a bad situation that was not preventable; 2) our organization did an incredible job to support him and his family; 3) we are fortunate that Dan is such a tough guy.â
In this conversation, I speak with Dan and A.J. about their stories, how they met, and how they came to team up together to write the book. There is so much in this podcast that will lift and inspire every single person. Dan is the epitome of courage, persistence, and loving life. A.J. is the epitome of compassion and community. Together, they are a powerful team inspiring people all around the world to embrace trauma, connect with others, and live their best life.

Louise Siwick is a global certified fertility coach, heart-based leader, passionate advocate for fertility in the workplace, and a fellow infertility warrior. She completely understands the unique emotional challenges faced by people faced with fertility challenges.
Louise and her husband faced a six-year fertility battle that changed her career, as much as it changed her. A career which included accounting at the worldâs most famous strip club and a national development manager role. Her role now is to transform clientsâ mindset to get them to a place where they truly believe they will become parents when the time is rightâand to accept sometimes we canât control over how that looks.
Louise had many external achievements including; a business degree, extensive travel, and confidence which saw her talk her way into Peru without a passport. It meant nothing when She and her husband wanted kids. She was 31 and until I was 37, they did every reproductive and fertility treatment you can think of.
In 2017 her specialist told her to take six months off. The mental and physical stress had led to coeliac disease, adrenal fatigue, depression. Seeing coaches and hypnotherapists, Louise uncovered so much about what was behind her lack of self-worth that manifested as infertility: unresolved guilt and fear around growing up with a beautiful brother with a major disability.
Since 2018, they've had two sons and a daughter. Three babies and the realisation our minds and bodies are completely linked which led to her also birth her business. She stripped back the layers, learned how be productively unproductive, and then started to heal. This is a powerful conversation for everyone.

Nathan was born in South Gippsland, Victoria, and was brought up drinking, at a young age, as a social norm. It was never a problem until he lost everything during covid lockdowns. He lost his job, his home and his partner, and he spiralled.
Forced to move back into his parents house (now a tiny home on their property), he started drinking as a way to cope with feeling like a failure. On Boxing day 2021, he had my last drink but still had a cocaine problem that he had acquired through the party & pleasure seeking life. He overcame that about 1 year later after having what he was told was a "psychosis" episode.
He didn't use any outside help to get clean, no programs, no mentors, nothing but Gym, non negotiable tasks & focusing internally on being his best version daily. His obsession with internal & external upgrades has brought him into being able help others wanting to be better individuals and change their lives through changing themselves.
This is a powerful conversation with Nathan, only 27 years of age, about the choice we get to make every day. When we stop something that is harmful and replace it with something that is helpful, things can change very quickly. Enjoy my conversation with Nathan

Having lived with lower levels of energy for a few years as she moved through my early 50's, Adrienne's life took a downward spiral that did not look pretty. She was no longer in control of her life. In fact, her life controlled her. Scared of what life would look-like 1-5-10 years ahead (if she did not make some drastic changes), she chose instead to live life on my terms.
Over a 12-month period starting with a 180% mindset shift, and she started to treat her body with the same respect she would treat her best friend. As a result, she lost the 25 lbs she'd gained over the previous year & half, rebuilt her physical, mental, emotional & spiritual energy banks and reclaimed her youthful VITALITY. She started to become aware of a few colleagues and friends complaining and suffering with their own varying degrees of chronic fatigue and how it was affecting the afternoon production. She knew what they were going through and it broke her heart.
Adrienne decided, if she could re-build then reclaim my energetic vitality, maybe she could help others do the same. As a result of this decision, she created the 'Energy Edge: Unlock Your Energy Potential' coaching program. She works with corporate professionals, small business owners and those (like her) with a foot in both worlds. Anyone suffering from that dreaded afternoon chronic fatigue, tired of living life on their chronic fatigue terms, ready to kick their fatigue out the door, and ready to tap into unlimited energy, needs to listen to this conversation.
