It has been amazing the amount of things I have discovered this last year, one of the main things is how much my relationship with my mum has impacted my life in several ways, positive and negative. In this episode I will share the main things that have influenced my own behaviour that I somehow inherited from mum.
I will be trying to post more episodes now as I am settling into post-vintage routines.
I apologise in advance for the sound of my voice, but I have a nasty cold given to me by my daughter, and it has been relentless for the las 5 days, so I hope you can listen past the nasal voice and difficulty breathing and talking...
Thanks everyone :) -
Ahh friendship...
the family we choose, some say.
For me friendship has been a big source of happiness but also has caused me some pain and anxiety in the past. In this episode I explore how the experiences from my past have shapen the way I relate to friends now, and how I feel no, having experienced motherhood and the loss and gain in friendships during this important time in my life.
I will be working towards releasing episodes fornightly, though at the moment I am full time working Vintage (grape harvest and fermentation... for those who don't know much about wine) I am commited to make this my safe space and yours too.
Thanks for Listening...

After being diagnossed with depression, I realized I had no real hobbies for the last 4 years, (besides watching Netflix), so I went into a search for new things to do in order to discover what I really like.
Do you know for sure what your favourite hobby is? Have you tried something completely new? Do you consider yourself bad at something you have never done?
In this episode I explore the way I discovered how much I had neglected my own sense of self, so much, that I wasn't even sure what I liked anymore, or what I could be good at, besides my day job. -
Have you ever felt that you don’t know yourself well enough? Do you dedicate enough time in your busy life for YOURSELF?
My name is Allison, for the last few years, I have been struggling to find time for myself, I am a married woman, mother of a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old girl, and I am also a full-time winemaker, originally from Chile, but living and working in Marlborough New Zealand.
I have often felt trapped inside a bubble of routines and tiredness called motherhood, while working full time and using whatever little time I have left for anything else other than me.
I have recently been diagnosed with clinical depression, which detonated a revolution inside my mind, sending me on a journey to self-discovery. This podcast is the beginning of that journey.
