Summary:
Donald Trump has done the seemingly impossible. After enduring a four-year assault on his presidency including a two-year investigation into spurious accusations of “colluding with Russia” and two impeachements, followed by four more years of politically motivated prosecutions and two assassination attempts, he is returning to the White House as the 47th president of the United States. Tom gives his initial reaction to this astonishing election.

Summary:
In 2022, the Libertarian Party was taken over by the Mises Caucus, promising to bring “the Ron Paul version” of libertarianism to the party. With its members occupying virtually positions within the party, including the Chair, it expected its preferred candidate Michael Rectenwald to win the nomination for president. However, non-Mises Caucus member Chase Oliver emerged victorious from the convention.
This was seen as a regression back to everything wrong with the party prior to 2022 and many prominent Libertarians have refused to support Oliver. But how far does he really stray from libertarian principles? Is there a libertarian case for Chase?

Whether libertarians like it or not, either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will be President of the United States in late January 2025. While one can refuse to vote for either on principle, that won’t protect the nonvoter from the winner’s policies. Is there a libertarian case Trump is the better alternative?

Summary:
The Libertarian Party is the third largest political party in the United States but has not yet challenged the major parties at the national level. The 2024 Libertarian Party National Convention could begin to change all of that. Former President Trump, RFK, Jr., and Vivek Ramaswamy will all appear at the convention to speak to the party’s delegates. Chair of the Libertarian Party Angela McArdle joins Tom to discuss these startling developments.
Guest Bio: Angela McArdle currently chairs the National Libertarian Party and is a two-time congressional candidate for California's 34th District. Summary:
In early March 2020, Donald Trump was saying very sensible things about the danger of trying to lock down the entire country to contain Covid-19. Then, one day, he abruptly changed his mind and became pro-lockdown. Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York and Dr. Anthony Fauci also responded sensibly to the pandemic initially before suddenly embracing “the China solution.” What caused this drastic change of approach and why is no one curious about it? Jeffrey Tucker of the Brownstone Institute joins Tom to discuss.
Guest bio:
Jeffrey Tucker is Founder, Author, and President at Brownstone Institute. He is also Senior Economics Columnist for Epoch Times, author of 10 books, including Life After Lockdown, and many thousands of articles in the scholarly and popular press. Summary:
In the midst of Covid hysteria, John Ziegler released his extraordinary podcast analyzing the Penn State scandal, reaching the conclusion after eight years of investigation, that not only was there no cover-up by Joe Paterno or Penn State, but that there were no crimes committed by Jerry Sandusky at all. For most of us, it was Penn State, then Covid, then Ukraine. For John, it was Penn State first. He joins Tom to discuss what it all means.
Guest bio:
John Ziegler is the host of The Death of Journalism and With the Benefit of Hindsight podcasts. He is also a documentary filmmaker, author and a former TV sportscaster and radio talk show host. He is most well-known for his second feature documentary film, "Media Malpractice" about the 2008 presidential election. He has appeared on numerous national TV shows as a guest, including the "Today Show" and "The View." He attended Georgetown University and while he grew up in Pennsylvania, he has no direct ties to Penn State. He is politically conservative/libertarian.

Summary:
We are led to believe that human activity and the additional CO2 it produces in the atmosphere has drastically changed the climate, threatened human life in the present, and could make the planet unlivable for humans in the future. But a new documentary film, Climate: The Movie, claims none of that is true. Relying upon highly credentialed scientists utilizing the establishment’s own data, this film completely shatters the climate change narrative. Producer Tom Nelson joins Tom to discuss.
Guest Bio:
Tom Nelson, producer of 'Climate: The Movie' is a podcaster who has been deeply examining climate debate issues for the better part of two decades. On the Tom Nelson Podcast in the fall of 2022, Martin expressed a desire to remake 2007’s “The Great Global Warming Swindle”, and that kicked off a successful effort to do just that. Many of the scientists interviewed in 'Climate: The Movie' have done lengthy interviews for the Tom Nelson Podcast.

Now, Robby is taking them to court in a lawsuit that could change the game completely.
