    if you find it hard to get new customers to grow your business, just go out and make new friends.

    But make friends with who? Good question.

    There are specific people I have become friends over the years that I have noticed that have helped me get plenty of work over the years.

    Thinking about it, it was pretty interesting to hear how so many customers got my details. There are some people who haven't recommended me ever. I'm not going to mention them - they might be listening 😂.

    The more people you have talking about you and your work, the calls just come in continually.

    Its a natural progression for your business to grow.

  • No Work Mean No Pay Self Employed

    It can get you down when you have to take some time off due to an accident it illness.

    But being your own boss, not everything is being on the tools - there is paperwork too.

    Its a good idea to create other ways to generate new customers into your business, but when your so busy, all these ideas get put to the side.

    Being stuck at home is the perfect opportunity to get these things in place to help grow your business in the future.

  • How many ways is there to be able to become a qualified Electrician and get paid well?

    It doesn't happen in a few weeks - I can tell you that.

    There is a number of options for all ages of people to be able to enter the electrical trade.

    With the electrical industry growing rapidly every year, there is a good call for electricians all over the world.

    You can specialize in LED lighting, EV charger's, Solar power.....

    What ever you career path takes you down it all starts off with becoming an electrician.

    To be able to advance in the industry you need to know the basics and have the qualifications as proof to be able to turn it all into a business.

    if you feel you are confident to do the job, but don't have the qualifications to back it up, there is no way you can legally sign the work off for the customers insurance.

    There is no way around it, you need to get those bits of paper.

    An interesting thing I discovered for electricians who have worked in the trade all their like but have now qualifications - there is an option in there for you too.

  • The aim is the be the cheapest Electrician out there and win all the work!

    If that's the case, then your going to be the poorest electrician too. You have heard the term "cheap rubbish" that's what you and your business will be classed as.

    Cheap means cheap for a reason. To be honest there are electricians out there doing work for peanuts, this is possibly because they have something to hide.
