There was so much chaos in the Brazilian GP that we forgot there was a sprint race.

This week Barista Josh Racing joins the show to recap the Mexican GP. In typical Track Talk fashion, the race recap goes from qualifying to the last lap of the race... and then the rest is filled in. Did Max deserve the penalties he received? Was Liam wrong to give Checo the finger? Will there ever be another chapter of 'The Ferrari Rivalry for Love'? You'll have to listen to find out!
Oh and happy birthday Lance Stroll

Hayley is a talented actress and musician who also happens to be a huge fan of F1 AND a fellow Canadian. Together we recap the race, discuss penalty controversy and look ahead to the last 5 races of the season.

YEEHAW !! Join us for our first ever live show in Nashville at the IndyCar season finale! We chatted with Zoey Edenholm, Josh Marsh and Jordan Agajanian to get all of their advice, input and fun stories about the motorsports world. Disclaimer: There are mentions of Harry Potter Fanfictions and Love Island but this wouldn't be a Track Talk show if we didn't completely go off track.
Big thank you to Barista Parlor, Red Racer Books and Offey On Track for helping make this night so spectacular.
Special shout out to Kaitlin Tucci for all of her hard work for turning our live show dream into a reality.

After 5 years, Charles Leclerc wins Ferrari's home race in Monza... We are head over heels happy for Charles, however this outcome does beg the question - how did he do it with the much faster McLarens behind him? A successful Ferrari strategy? A botched McLaren strategy? Should Oscar have overtaken Lando? All we know for sure is papaya rules... whatever that means.
We also recap both Indycar Milwaukee Mile races from this past weekend and look ahead to the season finale in Nashville. If you'll be in Nashville for the finale to watch the championship be decided, consider coming to hangout with us at Track Talk Live on Friday, September 13 at Barista Parlour. All of the details, and the link to RSVP are in our Instagram bio @tralktalk.pod
Big thank you to Kaitlin Tucci from FanAmp for joining the show very last minute in Emma's absence. If you heard her adorable puppy Willow during this episode, just know she really wanted to share her motorsport thoughts with you all.
OKAY LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH

Oh how the tables have turned... Lando Norris wins his second ever race with a 22 second gap. - how very Max Verstappen of him. Speaking of Max, we're still talking about who will race beside him in 2025 because, as we know, contracts mean nothing (sorry Logan)... We did, unfortunately, record before a certain decision was made so stay tuned for a breakdown next week.
In IndyCar news, all is right in the world because David and Will are friends again. The championship battle also heats up going into the last 3 races of the year, as Will Power closes in on Alex Palou's lead.
We also announce Track Talk Live in Nashville!! This event, hosted by Fan Amp will be during the Indycar finale weekend in Nashville. We have a group of guests that we are so excited to chat with, and we reveal the first one this episode. If you're looking to RSVP, the link is in our bio on Instagram @tracktalk.pod
WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Like always, we welcome different opinions when it comes to all things motorsports, including when it comes to the Josef Newgarden restart scandal. Was he at fault...was he not? Whose to say?? At least he’s giving us something that IndyCar has been lacking which is a STORYLINE. Hate to say it but…you gotta keep the people entertained and racing just doesn’t cut it on its own. Take F1 for example. They’re keeping things “interesting” by going after the very people that helped bring new fans to the sport!! (Of course we dive into that as well)

Well folks, the summer break is upon us, and there is truly not much to discuss in the world of motorsports. We do, however, have a couple motorsport x pop culture crossovers to mention - bonus points if you know who Harrison Osterfield is. We also finally have an answer as to which F1 personalities attend the olympics, however, Fred Vasseur wasn't one we saw coming. Bear with us for another week of summer break chatter before IndyCar picks back up next weekend. We love you all, please follow our instagram if you don't already @tracktalk.pod

The Formula 1 summer break has officially begun, but not before we got one of the most chaotic races of the season. Alongside many other boxes, we've now checked off a post-race disqualification from our 2024 season bingo card. Something we won't be checking off our bingo cards, however, is Mick being signed to Williams... Oh and if you've ever wondered about what Olympic sport F1 drivers would compete in, we've got some ideas. Oh and also, we miss IndyCar. Follow us on Instagram @tracktalk.pod

The Track Talk Triple-Header is complete! This weekend we watched the conclusion of Formula E season 10, the Hungarian Grand Prix, and Indycar in the streets of Toronto. Of course. Emma tells all about the latter as she was boots on the ground in Toronto chatting with drivers. fans and team members. The Indycar summer break may now be in full swing but that doesn't mean we won't discuss silly season, specifically, whether Theo Pourchaire will remain on the Indycar grid in 2025. Speaking of silly season, Carlos still hasn't decided where he'll be racing, but Haas may no longer be an option... Congratulations to Colton Herta for his win in Toronto, Pascal Wehrlein for his first FE World Championship & McLaren F1 for the most controversial 1-2 in Formula 1 history (probably). Whether you thought Lando or Oscar deserved the win, we'll discuss it all.

We're baaaaaack! Did you miss us? Cause we missed you. After over a month, we are back in person to discuss all the details of our recent travels. Emma recalls her time in Monaco and Barcelona for the Spanish GP, while Hannah tells all about Formula E in Portland. While motorsport news may not be the entirety of the episode, we do discuss the IndyCar Iowa double header, and look ahead to this weekend's quadruple header. Also, if you've ever wondered what Hannah's favourite game show is, or what kind of traveller Emma is, look no further than this episode. We had so much catching up, hopefully y'all enjoy listening :)

Three winners in three races and finally some good ol' fashioned racing that we've been missing in Formula 1. You know what's also missing? Checo on the podium...yikes. It's hard to choose a favorite moment from these last few weeks but a Lewis win followed by a Pato win are certainly up there. And apologies in advance for the tangent about Lance...Hannah wasn't there to stop Emma.

This week's episode involves the return of the Mak(lovesmotorsports)! Mak joins Hannah to chat all things motorsport news, from the ongoing saga that is Carlos' 2025 contract, to Lewis' first podium of the season, to speculations about Prema drivers in Indycar. Oh, and if you thought F1 silly season was entertaining, Indycar silly season will have you questioning if contracts mean anything at all. The new name for our Formula E segment is also debuted, as we prepare to be immersed in the world of electric racing at this weekend's Formula E-Prix races in Portland! If you or a friend need last minute tickets, head over to our new base on FanAmp and let us know your favourite FE driver. Thank you all for being so patient with us as our schedules ramp up for the summer <333

Hannah and Zoe from Fan Behavior F1 pod join the show this week to recap the Canadian Grand Prix (or as Emma coins it, the Lance Stroll Grand Prix). You guessed it! there's a lot to say about Lance this week - from becoming an uncle, to his Tim Hortons (flatbread?) campaign, AND did he really hit the wall of champions?? As expected, we go completely off track and begin the recap by talking about the race result, and end it by discussing George's pole position. All within the recap there's a vocab lesson, a game of trivia and Hannah learns something new. We also continue our partnership with Formula E by doing a rapid recap of their season so far in our second ever edition of 'Watt's Up!' Let us know how you did in Electric Trivia and bonus points if you tell us what your favourite High School Musical is.
-
Formula E AND the Monaco Grand Prix? Yes you heard us correctly! We are so excited to venture into the world of FE and learn as much as we can before the season ends. But don’t worry, our first love will always be Formula 1 and Charles Leclerc. You didn’t think we were going to just ignore his Monaco win…did you?

The long overdue Indy 500 episode (plus a little bit of Detroit in there). From parking lot troubles to the well deserved hype the spectacle carries to the joy and heartbreak of that final lap - there’s certainly a lot to go over for this episode. Huge shoutout to the friends we met and oh, stay tuned to hear another famous Hannah rant, one that’s also long overdue.
