This match is a MUST WATCH for our big men out there. This allows big men to keep their size AND the ability to sell for someone. Many won't think of A Train as a great seller like a Ricky Steamboat, but the man is a MASTER here. Watch how Lesnar AND A Train sell during the heat. Lesnar is selling for sympathy, but A Train is selling to register more along in a realistic way. Which is typically not how heels sell, but A Train is a big man so it works! Such a great match that is well worth the hour of studying AND as a special surprise, I am including a word document/ deck to be able to study along. Or download and study on your own time!
We go through the Seven Deadly Sins of pro wrestling, we explain the psychology of how the shone sets up the match and how the Cut off impacts the entire match. This video has taken several hours of editing, typing and video-finding. It has been a great match to study, but I am hoping this is a process we can continue with to become better students of the game!

Pro Wrestler Reacts to Los Guerreros vs Team Angle on Smackdown! We chose this match because we LOVE Eddie Guerrero, but we also love Chavo Guerrero. And what better way to show off their talents than the last time they win the tag team titles? Chavo Guerrero and Eddie Guerrero are one of the main reasons Smackdown was MUST WATCH during the mid 2000's. As a part of the Smackdown 6, they were having main event quality matches every week. Same goes for Team Angle. Team Angle was on the other side of the Smackdown 6 where they may have not been the "name" value of Kurt Angle, but they were working with the BEST of the BEST and carrying their weight to have some of the best matches of our generation. This match analysis and breakdown is a love letter to this era in Smackdown! Los Guerreros and Team Angle PUT IN WORK and showed how to have a GREAT match with psychology, as opposed to just high spots. Whether you love Eddie Guerrero's antics, or Team Angle's willingness to be REAL HEELS, this match is MUST WATCH for any Student of the Game.Eddie Guerrero Entrance Low Rider: 0:15What is a jobber entrance? : 0:54How Eddie Guerrero steals like an artis:9t: 1:04How do pro wrestlers make a match : 1:23 Beginning of the match: 2:05Tag team wrestling vs singles: 2:26Casual fans vs DIE HARDS: 2:42How WWE Referees are IMPORTANT 3:14The problem with tag team wrestling: 3:54The problem with WWE Commentary: 4:40Pro wrestling training for beginners - Camp lessons 5:10How Shelton Benjamin shows great ring awareness: 5:45Tag team psychology: 5:55Mini-comeback-SHINE: 6:50Rule of 3: 7:16Next Level Pro Wrestling Psychology 201: 7:38Bump and Feed Shine: 8:20How Chavo Guerrero could have gotten MORE: 8:35Eddie Guerrero shows SAFETY FIRST: 9:02We Stan Eddie Guerrero: 9:36Most underrated wrestler of all time? 10:10Los Guerreros show tag team wrestling 11:10End of SHINE: 12:00A REAL Example of Pro Wrestling Psychology: 12:30Cut off/ Heat spot: 12:45Probably the heat spot: 13:15Ring positioning/ Awareness 13:35How to cut off the ring in tag team wrestling: 14:00Chavo gets lost? : 14:35How to be a heel in pro wrestling: 15:17Number one rule as a babyface: 15:29What makes wrestling feel real?: 15:37-16:25THE LITTLE THINGS MATTER: 16:30HOT tag/ Comeback: 17:00A critique of Eddie Guerrero: 17:18Expectation, Expectation, VIOLATION: 17:55False Finish: 18:10Psychology vs Fan Reaction: 18:45How to ONE UP the heels 19:45Simple in ring psychology: 20:5322:20 Why Shelton Benjamin is underappreciatedShelton Benjamin injured 22:45The Finish: 24:17Charlie Haas BOTCH 25:20What happened in Los Guerreros vs Team Angle: 26:40

However, Cena's raw power cannot be ignored as he relentlessly pushes forward to dominate the ring. The dynamic between these two wrestlers couldn't be more different - Cena as a tweener, with both heel and face tendencies, and Mysterio as the ultimate babyface, beloved by fans for his high-flying acrobatics and underdog spirit. This match is sure to have you on the edge of your seat as these two titans of the ring go head-to-head in an unforgettable battle. I have worked on this video for over 50 hours: studying, creating thumbnails, and countless revisions to avoid WWE copyright strikes on YouTube. Unfortunately, I can only spend so much more time on a project that has taken up this much of my time. As of right now, I still WANT to finish this video to continue and grow my Youtube channel, but I want it to be appreciated in the way it was intended. Emotions make us remember moments in our lives. The reason you don't remember this ladder match between Jeff Hardy and RVD is because it wasn't about EMOTIONS. It's a battle of one upmanship between two babyface (good guy) champions. So, how can you have a GOOD babyface ladder match? Well, let's just do spots! Sometimes a match doesn't have to follow a typical pro wrestling psychology structure. Sometimes you can tell a story where the fans want to just WATCH and be entertained. This match style can kind of suck though, honestly. You have to almost work twice as hard and take bigger bumps to get the same reaction you'd get if you had ANY heel in the match. But you're booked, so how do you have your first ladder match? As a beginner pro wrestler, PLEASE study with your focus on: ◾How can I tell a story WITHOUT any heel tactics? No eye pokes, no hair pulling, no low blows. ◾If I'm in a ladder match, what are 3 moves I can do to ANYONE? (Hint at 5:45 ) ◾Ask yourself: am I able to do this SAFELY? If the answer is no, DON'T DO IT 😊 Here is your FREE Pro Wrestling breakdown sheet for beginners: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z97_Y_k-FMcCJymR0YFUFcYDcJPu9SdORPEOFeYETw8/edit?usp=sharing Back before WWE/ WWF, we had several territories to learn and make mistakes. Debuting as Texas Red, The Undertaker vs Bruiser Brody promises NOTHING in its 3 minute total. BUT in 3 minutes, we can learn countless concepts: selling, calling spots, and squash matches. As a beginner pro wrestler, PLEASE study with your focus on: ◾How can I "get over", DESPITE being booked in a match with little to no offense? ◾If I'm in an unsafe environment, who do I know that hs my back that I can talk to? And especially: ◾Are Kane and Undertaker brothers in real life? JKJK If you were booked to be in a squash match, what would be your 3 to 5 moves that you would do? Here is your FREE Pro Wrestling breakdown sheet for beginners: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z97_Y_k-FMcCJymR0YFUFcYDcJPu9SdORPEOFeYETw8/edit?usp=sharing Pro wrestling training as a beginner doesn't have to just be in the ring... in fact, it's often where I learned the most! Complete Match Analysis for Beginner Pro Wrestlers - Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle
Match begins: 04:00
Match Shine: 5:00
Cut off: 5:35
Heat:
Hope Spots: 7:05& 9:30
Double down: 12:02
Comeback: 12:50 Interrupt comeback into false finish: 13:20
Finish: 17:25
As a beginner pro wrestler, PLEASE study with your focus on:
◾How many attempts did Kurt Angle do for his Ankle Lock? If you have an ESTABLISHED finisher, you can tease it in the match and create DRAMA.
◾Kurt Angle cut himself off as the "cut-off", how many ways can you think of to "stop" yourself as a babyface? This is a good way to begin to work with less experienced people, or working on the fly. You put these "spots"/ moments away for a rainy day.
◾Comeback's don't have to all LOOK the same. It's better if they don't. But how can you make yours stand out compared to everyone else? I started doing moves I can: A). Do to everyone. B). Not everyone does in a single match. HINT try to not use one clothesline, back elbow, or sling blade and your match will stand out!

The number one to stand out in a pro wrestling ring is to become a character. A character can be the difference between being Ronald McDonald and working at McDonald's. Your promos will feel a certain way. People are reminded of you when they see certain objects/ ideas, whether it's reversible mermaid sequin spandex 😉 or those stupid political signs in people's yards.
Speaking of working at McDonalds's... I mean political signs. Join Nikki Heat and his guest Koda Jacobs (he/ him) today in discussing pro wrestling character ideas, how Koda found his IT FACTOR, why Koda Jacobs is unable to be a babyface, being in the audience for Control Your Narrative and making the most out of his experience.
Not to mention working with legends like Honkytonk Man, Hornswoggle, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner means he's built the trust with promoters to be spotlighted alongside their main draws.
I truly believe no one has done MORE with less than Koda Jacobs. And it sounds like a shot, but he'll be the first to tell you he's a bottom heavy m'fer.
I met with so many people at my first event back, so I want to say I reminded you but I don't really know if I did haha.
Don't forget, we have a Youtube channel as well now!

Nikki Heat reacts to Jim Cornette's comments on locker room etiquette. This is for those pro wrestling hopefuls who have yet to set up a ring or are new to introducing yourself as a worker. Sometimes the best way to act isn't like a pro wrestler at all... but to be a person. Pro wrestling etiquette goes a long way, whether it's inside or outside of the ring, over social media or in the DM's. There is always one simple rule: treat others how you want to be treated.

It only takes one dollar to change your life. But are all dollars equally earned? Or are there easier ways to make a dollar, but are those the BEST ways to make money as a wrestler?

Brutal Bob Evans is a veteran of 29 years and has performed with ROH, TNA, and WWF. He has been featured in the PWI 500. Has held more seminars than Ric Flair has held championships. Uncle Bob created The Wrestle Life to teach pro wrestlers to make a self sufficient wrestling career, and spend more time with the people you love!
Nikki Heat and Bob Evans discuss a story from Uncle Bob's debut in WWF where Scott Hall influences bob for the rest of his life. Why he had such high expectations of his trainees in 2000 when he began training. How creating relationships within the business got him into ROH in 2010. What Kevin Kelly did to help Bob become a better pro wrestler, Terry Taylor's influence on Bob, and 3 things BIG promotions are looking for in today's independent professional wrestling scene.
Uncle Bob currently offers a 2 week free trial of The Wrestle Life, where he has several courses: booking a weekend loop to maximize those miles, match psychology breakdowns, and a promo class taught by NJPW English commentator: Kevin Kelly.
You can find Bob Evan's on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter by searching for 'Brutal' Bob Evans.

In today’s interview, we discussed killing the business, prioritizing social media, what social media has the most engagement and how Scott gauges success on their posts. Does he pay for twitter impressions? How does the twitter algorithm work? The story of getting to do play by play for AJ Styles' last independent match!
What former 90's WWF gimmick wrestler did Scott get to come back to do Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast?
And he has a Jeff Hardy story, so you know I had to ask what he was like behind the scenes… even re-listening to this, I listened to the entire story again. Such an awesome opportunity to get to ask about Jeff Hardy… And Vader ACCIDENTALLY tweeting about Scott. This is the second half of our interview, and to me, this one feels like two friends chatting about their love of the business. It isn’t all wrestling stories… What are promoters looking for in talent? Scott tells all! Follow SCItournament on Twitter to keep up with Scott.
Stay tuned until the end for a preview of our next guest... who has performed on Ring of Honor!

Today's guest is the most entertaining Facebook profile for professional wrestlers: Noah Tall. But behind the curtain is Scott Hensley. A family man residing in TN with his wife and 2 year old son. We discuss his background credentials in business, and most importantly his promotion!
Scott runs The Scenic City Invitational. A Facebook page with almost 2,500 likes, and a twitter with almost 3,500 followers. And has helped raise over 20,000 for charities. The Scenic City invitational is an annual event, but features other events throughout the year as well.
The Scenic City Invitational features talent from around the globe to become the holder of the Scenic City Invitational trophy. And this isn't just an ordinary trophy… this means you withstood 15 other participants over two days to EARN the right to be the winner.
You may recognize some of these former participants: Benjamin Carter, Marko Stunt, Tony Deppen, Jaden Newman, Curt Stallion, and "Warhorse" Jake Parnell.
So be on the lookout for ALL talent on this event. Additionally, this is a promotion to set your eyes on and try to be around for future opportunities.
This is a great podcast for those looking to hear directly from a promoter what they are looking for in talent. We also discuss the difficulty of being a ring announcer AND a promoter on show day, and why he was only willing to take one day of bumps and called it a career.
The best way to continue to support Scott Hensley, AKA Noah Tall SUX World heavyweight champion is to follow @SCITournament across social media, or by searching "Scenic City Invitational".
But if you are local to the Tennessee area, and interested in enjoying some awesome entertainment you can come watch the futures showcase at 2 pm for only $5 before the premier Scenic City invitational on august 6th and 7th, with a 730 bell time. The event brings in promoters interested in scouting new talent and features some of the biggest up and coming professional wrestlers around the globe. So if you are a pro wrestler looking to reach the "next level": this episode is for you!

Have you ever wondered "What does it take to become a pro wrestler?" Today we discuss the beginning experiences of a pro wrestling training camp. If you can begin to master these techniques, you'll be well on your way. But don't get me wrong, there are some that can't bump evenly (Ric Flair), but hey can still draw money... But this is for beginners, not for well established veterans of the sport. We're here to make you get better QUICKER, not to get signed... this is only the beginning of your journey! Pro wrestling psychology is a difficult concept... but first, we have to get there by doing the basics! Bumping, locking up and learning to create a pro wrestling match from scratch. I promise you, nothing is greater than the adrenaline rush from performing in front of a crowd.
Understand this, I want you to succeed... but if you don't, it's okay. Perseverance is going to get you through life. I love you.
If you need to reach me, I'm here. Ask a question... I'll respond and maybe feature question on the next podcast!

Today, Nikki Heat will go over 6 tips for studying professional wrestling. We aren't talking about "how to have a 5 star match", we're talking about: how do I study the storytelling aspect of pro wrestling. I want this to be applicable to EVERY match, not just major events. These tips will help you become better the more you learn on your journey of becoming a student of pro wrestling. Pro Wrestling isn’t as easy as it seems. It isn’t going to be simple.
