Episodes

  • Today's episode diverges from our typical format. It offers a sneak peek into a story of a profoundly personal experience. Join me as I sit down with my dear friend, Mona Esser, who is making her second appearance on the podcast. We gather at my apartment in Brooklyn to delve into her transformative journey to India.

For those who are not yet acquainted, Mona radiates vibrant energy as the driving force behind Be-Shen. Her intuitive growth practice offers a plethora of offerings, from group sessions to one-on-one Rashida journeys. Additionally, she serves as the creative director and co-founder of GEMSUN, a label known for its intuitively designed clothing and handmade accessories.

Now, let's delve into May and the numerology behind the number 5. Often dubbed the "think outside the box" number, 5 is all about exploration and experimentation, pushing boundaries to reach new heights. When you encounter the number 5, it's a sign of impending change, transformation, personal growth, adventure, and good fortune.

In terms of symbolism, 5 embodies the earth element, travel, communication, and the physical body. It's closely linked with the five senses and the hands—themes that tie into today's episode.

We delve deeply into the realm of Ayurveda, exploring the rich tapestry of sights, smells, tastes, sounds, communities, and experiences of India, as well as our broader travel adventures. With May upon us, it presents a prime opportunity for personal introspection and exploration. It's a chance to examine what's manifesting in your world and life, and to discern the shifts necessary to propel you toward your highest good.

    With love,

    Michaela

  • Today marks a special moment for We All Dream as we welcome our first male guest, Michel Oscar Monegro. And who better to launch this milestone than a big dreamer par excellence—a Pisces no less, perfectly timed with Pisces season.

Michel is the vision behind the dreamy and inclusive space known as LAOBRA.

“LAOBRA calls out to creators who feel disillusioned, creators who want to get back to creating what makes their heart sing. Beyond the unique design practice, the goal for LAOBRA is for it to become an ecosystem of unique spaces and resources. One that we can all use to work, play, create, and grow together with a sensitivity for the planet and our collective well-being.” - LAOBRA

From the stories of immigrant upbringings, to the delicate dance of career exploration amidst uncertain horizons, this journey leads us through the realms of enlightenment and self-discovery. It's a pilgrimage towards unraveling the tapestry of our purpose and dreams, nurturing them until they blossom in full splendor. In the times of Capricorn, ego-driven individualism fades into memory, making way for the dawn of the age of Aquarius. Here, the focus shifts to the collective, to community, and to finding our individuality in harmony with others.

This episode embodies the essence of this cosmic transition, guiding us through the intertwining paths of personal growth and collective evolution. And after you listen to today’s episode I challenge you to ask yourself, what is your why?

While this episode may be longer than usual, I assure you it's a treasure trove of inspiration, destined to be revisited whenever you need a gentle dose of motivation and hope it inspires you to dream big on this Pisces new moon!

  • Today’s guest is Clémence Polès.

Clémence is the founder of passerby, an online magazine and community that celebrates the women who pass us by.

Passerby was born from her curiosity about the women she encountered all too briefly while people-watching. Wanting to hear from the people who sat beside her on the subway, from those who served her coffee or passed her on the sidewalk, she set out to broaden the scope of typical media portrayals, asking the women she saw to speak with her.

Hundreds of conversations later, passerby has become a venue for a diversity of perspectives, a driver of creative exchange, and a home for a community of worldwide passersby. passerby pushes against traditional narratives of who is seen and what can be discussed, providing a rare space for reflection on an increasingly busy internet.

From waitressing to building passerby from the ground up, Clémence independently learned everything from photography to coding in order to bring her vision for Passerby to fruition.

In today’s episode we chat about our upbringings with immigrant parents, developing your craft and learning how to build projects from the ground up, and remembering to celebrate and reflect on your journey along the way.

  • What is your creative expression? Today’s episode may spark a moment of reflection.

Today’s guest is New York based Mona Esser. Originally from Germany and with a passport filled of stamps around the world, Mona uses her life experiences in her day to day work and practices.

From corporate world to entrepreneurship, Mona navigates business and life intuitively. She is the creative director of GEMSUN, a sustainable fashion line started by three life-long best friends, as well as the energy force behind Be-Shen, a practice in which she offers transformative guidance to active your spirit and inner glow.

We talk about her experience working in Berlin, finding her way back New York for a second, more permanent time, and how it’s important to trust yourself, taking every experience as a piece of the puzzle to the big picture of your creation.

We’re all on different timelines and what works for one won’t necessarily work for another but there is power in making a choice to continuously grow and evolve towards the life you dream of while remaining present and enjoying the process.

  • Hi guys, welcome back!

It’s been quite literally almost a full season since the last episode went live. This episode was recorded way back in May believe it or not, but I’m a working gal and I’ve been living! I spent almost a month in Turkey literally the day after this episode was recorded. I also had a season of feeling like a social butterfly and I know once the first cold breeze hits that will go away so I wanted to be present and just enjoy all the festivities New York summers have to offer.

Today’s guest is Tara Thomas. For those of you who don’t know her, Tara is a chef and hospitality consultant but it doesn’t stop there. She is also a model, the founder of non-profit, Breaking Bread, queen of the community gardens, and overall an Aquarius star you’ll be sure to see hit your instagram feed at one point or another. As she says “speaking for food, through food."

In this episode we talk about how her childhood environment shaped her career, the importance of a community ecosystem, and how you can use your skills to benefit not only yourself but those around you.

Also — since this episode has been recorded I have indeed tasted Tara’s food and can attest, it is a vegan slice of heaven. Earthy abundance if you will. If you get the chance to try it yourself, don’t miss it.

I hope you enjoy this episode with Tara and please remember to follow & rate the pod on here so you get notified as each episode comes out! Lot’s of love and I hope you’re all having a glorious summer! Chef's kiss!!

  • Hi guys welcome back!

Today’s guest is Lale Boz, founder of Normal and an eye-catching creative whose work spans fashion and interior design. Born in Istanbul, and now bi-coastal between New York and LA, she is first known for sharing the design process of her Brooklyn apartment on social media, in which began Normal in 2020 where she has taken it from a simple personal home and inspiration account and transformed it into where it is today.

In this episode we chat about navigating and nurturing anxiety through unknown and challenging times. How to embrace being your own advocate and listening to your internal compass versus those around you. And confidently following your path even when it takes you to new places you didn’t plan while remembering the importance of building community through trust, connection, and love.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you’re loving the podcast, it would be so kind to give it a rating and hit the follow button! So much love.

She truly embodies all the senses and each design is hand sewn with love right out of her New York apartment.

  • On today's episode I chat with Los Angeles based holistic nutritionalist and recipe developer, Lily Harris. In this episode we chat a lot about the opportunity for growth and how that shows up in many forms. Her goal is to help her clients build confidence in the healing abilities our bodies hold while support them with the tools to do so. With a long past life in the fashion industry, Lily has explored many roles and opportunities but ultimately found herself on the path to a career in wellness. Navigating a love for food with a celiac disease diagnosis lead her to exploring and re-developing gluten-free versions of her favorite meals in the kitchen. She focuses on non-restrictive health and creating nourishing, exploratory, delicious meals to share with her community. We talk about eating seasonally, and some tips to care for your mind and body in the winter season. She gently reminds us are bodies are capable, resilient, and mild positive stress on the body can do wonders.
