Fern Brady is joined by comedian and TikTok sensation Abi Clarke in the final episode of the season, as Abi shares some of her favourite food combos.
As we draw the curtains on the first season, Fern meets her match in the pickiest eater we’ve ever had on the show. Abi lists the 20 foods that she eats, Fern admits that she doesn’t actually like combining her foods, and the pair go into detail about their love for viral spot picker, Dr. Pimple Popper.
All this and more, finished with a lament against the tyrannical rise of homemade beans, a discussion about the pitfalls of the Barbie film, and a chaotic attempt at completing the TikTok pickle challenge.

Fern Brady invites fellow comedian Ivo Graham to take a seat at the What A Combo table, and share some of his favourite food combinations.Ivo is on the back foot from the get-go, with Fern attacking his poor eating habits mere moments after the intro has been uttered. His friends call him ‘the dustbin’ because of his impressive ability to finish off anything in sight, and Fern takes this one step further, accusing poor Ivo of having no respect for food, nor himself.Elsewhere, it’s an episode chocked full of strong opinions; the clagginess of aubergines, and truffle crisps get short shift from Ivo, whilst two of his great loves, games and radishes, are combined in a radish-based quiz for the ages. Fern manages to confuse a type of potato with one of her comedian pals, Ivo describes the sad sight of eating pasta from a Tupperware box in his car, and of course the pair dissect Ivo’s eating habits at the Prime Minister-making institution, Eton College. Ivo is currently on tour with his show, Organised Fun.Head over to Twisted’s YouTube page to watch this episode now: https://www.youtube.com/@TwistedFood/videos A Twisted & Sony Music Entertainment production. From Sony Music Entertainment:The producer is Michael DaleThe assistant producers are Erin Uckuzular and Ben JohnsThe production co-ordinator is Lily Hambly The sound engineers are Matias Torres Sole and Ed GillThe marketing coordinator is Emily Webb The executive producer is Alex Lawless From Jungle Creations:The creative director is Tom Jackson The creative producer is Alice DaviesThe videographers are Marcus Gibson-Blair and Harry ByrneThe video editor is Matt ConleyThe food stylist is Susanna Unsworth Find more great podcasts from Sony Music Entertainment at sonymusic.com/podcasts and follow us @sonypodcastsTo bring your brand to life in this podcast, email [email protected] more about your ad choices. Fern Brady is joined in the What A Combo diner by vegan internet cook, and author of ‘The 20 Minute Vegan’, Calum Harris, who shares some of his favourite food combinations.
Expect a plant-based audio treat, packed with sightings of poodles in prams, tales of vegan burgers at McDonalds in Balham at 1am, and a local man posting brownies through Fern’s letterbox. Fern questions whether the podcast is too similar to Off Menu, only to quickly realise that show doesn’t involved people ‘eating out of bins’, and Calum describes what he’d cook for Harry Styles, his dream person to cook for.

Fern Brady invites comedian and actor Sindhu Vee to join her in the What A Combo caff and share her favourite food combinations.
Sindhu talks about her childhood eating habits, describing the pain of eating non-stop rice and dahl, and the daily trauma of having to take an “aggressed banana” into school. Fern nearly ruins Sindhu’s Snacking Combo by sticking her fingers into one of the components, and the pair agree that the Twisted Combo leaves a lot to be desired.
All this and more, topped with Sindhu declaring her love for Coke Zero, Fern asking Sindhu about being married to “that big Danish fella”, and Sindhu comparing mustard to both annoying teenagers and psoriasis.

Fern Brady is joined by pop sensation Caity Baser in the What A Combo diner, as the singer-songwriter and TikTok star shares her favourite food combinations.Inspired by Caity’s ditty to DILFs, Fern asks Caity which celebrity chefs fit the DILF criteria; Gordon Ramsay comes off well, but how do the likes of Gregg Wallace, Nigella Lawson, and Ainsley Harriott fare? Caity slides into her musical idol Katy Perry’s DMs, Fern talks about the time she played Björk to some Icelandic chickens, and the pair attempt to balance spoons on their faces.Head over to Twisted’s YouTube page to watch this episode now: https://www.youtube.com/@TwistedFood/videosA Twisted & Sony Music Entertainment production. From Sony Music Entertainment:The producer is Michael DaleThe assistant producers are Erin Uckuzular and Ben JohnsThe production co-ordinator is Lily HamblyThe sound engineers are Matias Torres Sole and Ed GillThe marketing coordinator is Emily WebbThe executive producer is Alex LawlessFrom Jungle Creations:The creative director is Tom JacksonThe creative producer is Alice DaviesThe videographers are Marcus Gibson-Blair and Harry ByrneThe video editor is Matt ConleyThe food stylist is Susanna UnsworthFind more great podcasts from Sony Music Entertainment at sonymusic.com/podcasts and follow us @sonypodcastsTo bring your brand to life in this podcast, email [email protected] more about your ad choices. Fern Brady invites comedian, poet, and actor Tim Key to pull up a chair at the What A Combo dining table and share some of his favourite food combinations.
It’s an episode that isn’t afraid to ask the big questions: Which foods had a brilliant 2023? Which Matt Damon film does Fern get Tim’s life confused with? What veg does Tim think should be sold individually at the till like Chupa Chups?
All these questions answered and more, plus Fern hating on chutneys, Tim almost getting emotional at seeing one of his combos out of the house, and the pair agreeing that all three combos are fairly awful.
Tim’s new book of poems Chapters is out now.

Fern Brady is inviting her famous pals to try weird and wonderful food combinations.
Comedian Jamali Maddix is next up to pull up a chair at the 'What A Combo' dinner table to share his favourite food pairings. Fern tests whether Jamali is truly Italian or Greek by quizzing his food knowledge of both countries, Jamali reminisces about eating full English breakfasts from a can, and the pair revisit bizarre food combos from the ‘70s. All this and more, topped off with the heinous act of dipping garlic bread into orange juice…

Fern Brady is inviting her famous pals to try weird and wonderful food combinations.
North London’s finest YouTube chef Big Has is the first guest to sit down with Fern and share his favourite combos. Fern quizzes Has about Turkish bread, the rules of pasta, and tests his food credentials in a blind tasting challenge. She also practises her Turkish pronunciation of food names, and the pair ‘enjoy’ the Twisted Combo, a combination of foods dreamed up by Twisted food scientists.

Ever dunked your chips in a milkshake? Or sprinkled Bombay mix over an ice cream? Comedian Fern Brady is inviting some of her famous pals for a feast like no other - tucking into a bunch of the best (and worst) food combos about.
Fern Brady is one of Britain’s most exciting comedians – according to The Daily Telegraph she’s the 48th funniest person of the 21st Century! You might know Fern from Taskmaster, Live At the Apollo, or her Sunday Times best-selling memoir Strong Female Character, but now she’s turning her hand to her true passion: FOOD.
In this comedy podcast she gets to know her guests over three dishes: first, their perfect Snacking Combo – think banana and peanut butter, delightful! – then their Wild Combo – aka, the bizarre one you've never admitted to anyone before. Finally, they try the Twisted Combo, cooked up by the food scientists at Twisted (the UK's number one social media food brand).
Which of the flavour combos will work, and which will just be a colossal fail? You might find some of them strangely enticing. Maybe you'll even be tempted to try them yourself!
Why stop at food chat? If you want to see Fern's meals IRL just had over to the Twisted YouTube channel.
