China's central government has just introduced a slew of new policies to support childbirth. Measures include strengthened maternity leave and subsidies. Following more than a decade of development, the BRICS has come to a stage where its international influence must be taken seriously. Its member countries are home to 45 percent of the global population, and they account for more than a third of the global economy.

China's policymakers have been rolling out fresh stimulus to boost the country's property sector for the past few months. Measures announced included lower down payment thresholds and mortgage rates, increasing the amount of affordable housing, and more. Amid such stimulus, property markets in first-tier cities have picked up, and the number of visits to new property projects grew in September.
