We spoke to Nusrat Ahmed on Zoom to hear about her role as Lead Curator of the new South Asia Gallery at Manchester Museum. The first permanent gallery of its kind in the UK, it was uniquely brought together through the collaboration of community leaders, educators, artists, historians, journalists, scientists, musicians, students and others from South Asian diaspora. The gallery displays world-class material from the British Museum alongside the best of South Asian collections in Manchester.
