Ep2 - after a short break the boys are back talking all things BALEARICS. Martin looks at the new law limiting cars in Ibiza and also a new initiative by the Balearic government guaranteeing rental returns for empty apartments. Richies' obsession with family tourism continues with a frank assessment of Magaluf and it's plans for the future including the incoming ABTA conference, also the emerging North American market and both get stuck into the tourist tax & its lack of transparency. Martin opens the debate about 'UNVRS' (due to open in Ibiza in June 2025) which is being billed as the world's first HYPERCLUB & no Richie Prior Podcast is complete without talking football & he waxes lyrical about Real Mallorca's start to the season. As the new season of the award winning ‘'My Mum Your Dad' is about to start on ITV1 primetime in the UK, 3 members of the original season 1 cast sit down whilst in Ibiza to discuss their experiences in the house, thoughts on their fellow cast members & some sage advice for the newbies going into the house in season 2. Ep10: DANNY TALBOT. A 70's teenage pop star mixing with THE JAM & MADNESS, when his band split & his brother went on to find international fame with PAUL WELLER & the STYLE COUNCIL he somehow found himself running the iconic CLUB 18-30 youth holidays in an ever-changing IBIZA during the madness of the mid to late 80’s as a booze & live music culture was giving way to Balearic house & ecstasy pills.
Danny went on to become a big cheese in the holiday industry pioneering the very first clubbing holidays to the White isle with MINISTRY OF SOUND & then overseeing THOMAS COOK SPORT just as the English PREMIER LEAGUE exploded.
There’s plenty of nostalgia & lots of laughs in this podcast with a genuine Ibiza lover who, over 40 years, has become part of the Islands fabric.

Ep8 - I sit down over a cup of tea to chat with Island veteran and font of all Ibiza knowledge TRICIA TEMPLETON about her journey from Ayrshire in Scotland to the White Isle in the late 70's. Her 'Ladyship' recounts some great stories from almost 50 years including an Ibiza of a bygone age and bringing up a family before satellite TV, never mind social media (which she is now 'famous' for), even existed but brings it right up to date with her thoughts of the modern day reality of living on a small island which is constantly in the public eye. You can't beat experience!

26 year old BALI POPE came to my attention when she appeared in BBC3's controversial docu-series 'SECRETS OF THE PARTY ISLAND' with Zara McDermott & when I wrote a disparaging article about it & her portrayal she wasn't impressed and wasn't shy in telling me so.
In episode 7 of my podcast series we have a frank & forthright chat about that BBC3 series, Bali’s thoughts on how she came across and the fallout afterwards. She also explains how her path could have been very different, what it's like to be a millenial from a single parent family & discovering Ibiza as an 18 year old. Bali also talks honestly about her experiences on the island and how it has changed even during her short time here.
