For once, the burden of being ginger falls upon someone other than Gudni. Enter Nariko, the blade-wielding heroine of Heavenly Sword, the 2014 film you never knew existed, based on the 2007 PS3 game whose cover you definitely know. After a small production company called Blockade Entertainment attempted the impossible, to create an extremely cheap film adaptation of a dead IP, it's up to the bald bros to search through the wreckage to find out what actually happened.

Don't cross your streams... unless it's a double bill Side Quest! This week the Baldest Bros take a look at two new Video Game Adaptations that have been made into (excuse Neill while he wretches) TV shows. First up is Like A Dragon, the extremely popular games series about the Yakuza, and then we have yet another stab at Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Do these small screen offerings improve upon their big screen counterparts? Are either worth investing our precious precious time into? Let's find out shall we? Well...shall we?! Ahem. Press play already!!

Dooom slaaaayer... or Doom naysayer?! That's right, the Bald Bro's delve once more into the fiery pits of hell, also known as Video Game Movie adaptations! For reasons known only to higher beings, 2019 saw the release of sequel/reboot Doom: Annihilation, a low budget take on a series that had just hit new heights. Will Neill lose all credibilit once again? Do they get it right second time round? Has Hell frozen over? No?! Well sounds like you better buckle up and press play!

One last Boll full! But boy oh boy, what a Boll full we have for you! Join the Bald Bros as they tackle the last of Uwe's Video Game Movie offerings with 2007's Postal. Based on the infamous Postal game series, Uwe tackles his first comedy as he sets his "satirical" sights on the US. But does he hit the mark? Is he just too real and raw for us mild mannered sissies?! Can you not handle the Boll?!?! Buckle up, this is a bumpy ride through Paradise and the deeply unfunny mind of Uwe Boll.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the dark. Uwe claims his first outing was the scariest film he's ever made, will the sequel be just as scary? Well he isn't directing... so we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Slater said later, so follow our new hero as he takes on the supernatural in a film that bears no connection to the first film or even the game it is based on! The Bald Bros are connected though, as they watched this film hand in hand and are now sitting mere centimetres away from each other. Get alone, get in the dark, and get listening 2 this great new episode!

All aboard...erlands! This week the Bald Bros set their beady lil eyes on the latest Video Game Adaptation, 2024's- or is that actually 2021's- Borderlands. Eli Roth takes us to Pandora with a rag tag group of characters as they search for keys... no wait... key. Oh, hey, that was easy! Has Roth and the gang cracked the VGA formula? 3 years or so of production can only mean good things, yeah? And can Gudni actually do a good Matt Berry impression?! Find out the answers to these questions and a few more, in this week's episode of A Bald Opinion... yeah, if you buy that kind of BS!

If you're looking for something to tide you over until the world finally gives you a proper Diablo adaptation, look no further than Solomon Kane, the film Neill won't shut up about. And if you feel disappointed by the House of the Dead adaptations thus far, how about giving the ultra gory Demon Knight a shot!
Join the two baldies as they stray from the path of video game adaptations as they finally watch the two films most often mentioned on the podcast. The question is, are they actually any good?Support the show

Another ten in the rear view and what a mixed bag! Time for some alternatives, because what is better than one disc? Two discs obviously! It's no secret that sometimes video game movies don't hit the spot so the Bald Bros are here to offer some alternatives to scratch that disc... I mean itch!

War is brewing, two factions ready themselves for battle. Is it orcs and humans? Horde and Alliance? Or is it Gudni and Neill?
Join the hairless half-orcs as they tackle the 2016 fantasy epic Warcraft, the VFX filled extravaganza based on one of the biggest games ever made. Does the story deliver the thrills and the kills necessary to wow the audience or will it stumble due to its rapid pacing? Are the orcs too hot? Are the humans not hot enough? No, seriously, why are the orcs so hot?Support the show

Grab your tiny shorts and dual pistols, it's time to go raiding the tomb of Video Game adaptations once more, but this time we find no artifacts, just this film from the not so distant past of 2018. A new age Lara Croft deserves a new film, but did it finally break the ancient curse of the video game film? Is biking cool? And is that two hairless hunks I see coming along with their opinions? Only one way to find out... Press play already!

The Bald Bros are off on another Side Quest looking at another fan film. And if there are two things these hairless hunks know it is fans and films! Kevin Tancharoen's Mortal Kombat: Rebirth takes a fresh approach to the Mortal Kombat property but is it a Scorpi-win or Sub-par Zero? Find out in this week's A Bald Opinion.

Round 2... Fight! Who knew there was another Street Fighter movie?! Following the origins of Chun-Li, this preboot strips away the colourful characters, crazy casting, and escalating budget and instead replaces it with the Doom director and... not much else. Is this a fitting end to the Robin Shou quadrilogy of Video Game Movies? Does Neal McDonough own anything other than a suit? And how does she get out of the restroom?! Now you've read this, complete the combo and press play already!!

Turns out TV adaptations are like annoying villagers with villager problems, they just keep popping up to distract us from our main quest! This time it is Fallout and Amazon Prime's new shiny and expensive production that dropped only recently. Will it bomb or blow us away? Do we have a NEW CLEAR front runner for best adaptation? Either way this episode will be a blast! Fallout? More like Dive-In... to this latest episode that is! JUST PRESS THE BIG RED BUTTON ALREADY!

It's time to adorn your deerstalker hat and grab them balls, because we have a mystery to solve! Some call it the greatest mystery of all time, the mystery of the video game film adaptation! But what's this? First we have to deal with a loose Mewtwo? He strikes back again?! And wait, you can understand me?! Things have just got poké-real! Because this week the Bald Bros choose Detective Pikachu! The first live action Pokémon film, based on the least well known game, what could go wrong? Is it a miss or a critical hit? It is finally upon us! The final chapter! Everything has been building to this moment. Years and years of world and lore building. The emotional rollercoaster of everyone's favourite cloned and sometimes super powered heroine coming to a dramatic and explosive climax! ...or you know whatever this drivel is. That's right, the Bald Bros set their beady little eyes on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Does Paul manage to stick the landing? Do we finally get the boardroom drama the apocalypse deserves? Do Neill and Gudni regret and question the many hours they have given this franchise? Find out the answers to these questions and so much more in this week's thrilling episode of A Bald Opinion!

The Blue Blur is back under the critical eye of The Bald Bros as this week we look at Sonic The Hedgehog 2! This time the Dome-namic Duo are outnumbered as Sonic is joined by Tails and Knuckles. But is there enough Marsden? Can there ever be enough Marsden?! Is Jim Carrey's back okay from carrying this film? And are we all excited for yet more dancing?!

Well HELLo, what's this?! The Bald Bros must brave the underworld as they set their sights on the latest Video Game Adaptation on their noble quest, Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic. Based on the Divine Comedy, does this film surpass its humble source? How many styles are too many? (Spoiler: it's 8 but weirdly not 9) And does Dante really need to make such a helluva racket? Get it? HELLuva racket. Whatever. Just click play already.
