On this week's episode of BFYTW, Augie is missing, luckily DJ Xanthus joins us as Aaron hosts three fun BFYTW Games.
Game 1 - Broken Headlines
I've got three headlines with the important words redacted out, all our players have to do is fill in the blanks. The players can earn a point if they're close to the correct headline, but they can also earn a point by making me laugh. Most points at the end of the game wins and earns one episode point.
Game 2 - Tinfoil Hat
Our players will have to weave a conspiracy theory linking three apparently random things. The player with the craziest theory - without losing me - wins the game and earns two episode points. This time, players will have to link the following: "Who's the Boss" tv show Bop It! The Kim Kardashian jewelry heist of 2016
Game 3 - No More Bastards
We're going to play the game of naming a person and eliminating all people who share a trait with that person, and to make things more interesting, I'll be playing, too. Unless it's me, the player who wins gets three episode points.

Game 2 - Pitch Me Baby One More Time
May 22nd is the 25th anniversary of the Nintendo 64 game Perfect Dark, and this game is notable for taking an already great multiplayer game, Goldeneye, and adding something I have loved in every first-person shooter since - bots. For the first time, my friends and I could team up and work together to beat a team of computer controlled enemies.
I remember playing Perfect Dark for the first time and unironically using phrases like "on your six". Offline bots is a feature I've come to love in games like Timesplitters and Call of Duty Black Ops - Hell, Call of Duty Ghosts lets you play against bots and still gain levels and new equipment. Sadly, this is not a standard feature in FPS's today.
But I'm hoping you can make the Perfect Dark lightning strike twice. I want you to suggest a really popular game, but add a SINGLE feature that it does not currently have, and spin that into its own game/series. Give the game its own name, describe how the new feature makes the game so much better, best pitch wins and earns two episode points.

Game 3 - 4 Out of 5 Dentists
I've got five surveys asking questions like "what percentage of Americans believe in ghosts", and one player will guess the exact percentage - if they are within ten points high or low, they'll get a point. One of the other players will guess whether the actual answer is higher or lower, and the final player automatically takes the opposite option. After all five surveys, the player(s) with the highest score win the game and get three episode points.

Game 1 - Find the Fink
I've got three news stories here, but one of them was invented out of whole cloth. All our teams have to do is tell me which story is fake. If either team successfully chooses the fake story, they'll earn one episode point.
Game 2 - Find the Kink
I've got three stories of people with bizarre-but-specific fetishes. All our teams have to do is tell me what that kink is. You get one point if your answer is the funniest, but you get two points if you successfully guess what the fetish is. The team with the most points after all three stories wins the game and earns two episode points.
Game 3 - Find the Stink (a.k.a. The Dumpster Fire)
Players will take turns selecting something from the category that annoys them that they wish would be removed from society forever. Every round, I'll choose the one that irritates me the most, that player will earn a point for their team. The first team to three points wins the game and earns three episode points.

There is only one for each, and the correct combination was decided by me before the show. Game 2 - Just Correlate
Teams will alternate choosing from six keyboard keys, CTRL, ALT, DEL, INSERT, HOME, and END - behind each is a set of four seemingly-random clues that have something in common in the world of pop culture.
Teams have 40 seconds to reveal as many clues as they wish. If the team can solve it after one clue, they get 5 points, two clues, 3 points, three clues, 2 points, and if they need all four clues, they get one point. Failure to solve means we reveal all four clues to their opponents, and if they can solve it, they get 1 point. The team with the most points after all six keys have been revealed wins the game and earns two episode points. And to stay within theme, all six sets of clues were written by generative AI. Which means I had to clean them all up, otherwise this would be IMPOSSIBLE.Game 3 - The Cost is Correct

I'm going to give our players a series of four clues that share a connection, all our players have to do is tell me what connects them. If they get it wrong or run out of time, the other team can guess at it for a bonus point. Each team will get three connections to guess at, whichever team has the most points after all six have been run will win the game and earn one episode point.

Game 1 - Broken Headlines
I've got three headlines with the pertinent words blanked out - you can earn a point for your team if you make a headline that makes me laugh, but I'll give you TWO points if you're reasonably close to the correct headline. The team with the most points after three headlines wins and earns one episode point.
Game 2 - Pitch Me Baby One More Time
This year marks the 40-year anniversary of one of the most perfect movies ever made, Back to the Future. Because everything is stupid right now, it feels like a matter of time until some idiot reboots it with a Cybertruck in place of the DeLorean, so I want you all to beat them to the punch. Pitch me a Back to the Future reboot - pitch me what you would change, what would stay the same, who you would cast, and what iconic, cooler vehicle than the Cybertruck (in other words, any other vehicle) you would use as the time travel vehicle. Best BTTF reboot pitch wins the game and earns their team two episode points.
Game 3 - The Dumpster Fire
Players will take turns picking something that irritates them from categories to remove from society forever by tossing it into the Dumpster Fire. Every round, I'll pick my favorite, and the first team to get three things thrown into the Dumpster Fire wins and earns three episode points.
