I also talk about the positive and negative influences that have shaped this understanding and offer a rebuttal to the conventional but often toxic ideas of what a man should be/ do. I think as men, we often focus on the exterior (wealth/status) rather than our spiritual, emotional and mental well-being. I pray that we begin look to the character of Jesus Christ and God's word as the foundation of our lives rather than society's expectations.
