    Today's guest is: Erin Lingo

Erin Lingo is an Embodied Leadership and Somatic Coach, a yoga teacher, nonprofit leader, partner, and parent, and the founder and principal coach of Erin Lingo Somatics. After 15 years in nonprofit leadership, her growing awareness of her own "stuckness" coincided with the challenges and opportunities of the COVID pandemic; her curiosity took her into a deep study of somatics, embodied leadership, coaching models, and mindfulness to ultimately coalesce in a coaching practice that emphasizes leadership and personal influence, nervous system regulation for the benefit of ourselves and our communities, internal awareness and emotional literacy, and freeing ourselves from old patterns. Erin incorporates somatics, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, movement, and leadership best practices into her coaching work, customized for each client's needs. She believes in building leadership capacity from within, using a holistic, trauma-informed approach that combines mind, heart, and body to help leaders – within or outside of an organizational context – to lead differently, increase their own skills of resilience and care, and better navigate work challenges, personal relationships, and community engagements with integrity and alignment with their values. www.erinlingosomatics.com

There was a sudden rainstorm at the playground. Heather ran for cover and that’s when she saw it - a small camera, rusting under the slides. Water dripped from the viewfinder as she held it up to her eight-year-old cheek and saw the world in a frame for the first time. Although hooked on images, she didn’t set out to become a photographer. Instead, she went into biology, traveling and working in wildlife conservation until finally, ending up in Hawaii. After her son was born, she circled back to the viewfinder, which had been using to photograph wildlife, and started using it to photograph the wildest life of all - families. Heather loves the chaos, energy, and little gestures inherent to each family. She is fascinating how these movements can be so beautiful. Now, Heather has been photographing local and visiting families in Hawaii for over 12 years. She takes them on mini adventures where they play and explore. Best of all she sees their world in frame for the first time, and helps them see just how beautiful it is. hilittlebird.com

    Today's guest is: Martin Fitzgibbon

Musician, songwriter, singer and author Martin Fitzgibbon was introduced to the art of drumming aged 8. By the age of 16, he had ventured into the uncertain, exciting and precarious world of the professional musician, playing in every kind of venue including a few he was reluctant to admit to his Catholic mother. Fitzgibbon explains, “You did what you had to do just to get by. I played in Soho nightclubs for a while and there were some pretty unsavoury characters you had to deal with, but as a kid it was a great education in many different ways”
Money has never been a real motivation either. He says “Sure you need and deserve to get paid for what you do, but I enjoy musical variety and if I liked the sound of a proposition, I said yes first and then found out what numeration was going to be later” As a result he has no regrets and has worked in almost every musical genre, in many parts of the world, whilst pursuing his craft.
The drummer in the original production of The Rocky Horror Show, which
premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London alongside Tim Curry and Richard O’Brien, among others, Fitzgibbon continues to perform and is currently preparing to record a solo album due for release in early 2025

Kristine Jenson has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 30 years and learned the art of mala making 10 years ago. As friends and family began to ask Kristine to create malas, necklaces, and bracelets for them, she decided that she should explore the idea of opening a business. Not wanting to be just another commercialized business, she meditated on the idea of how to make it something more meaningful. The message she received loud and clear was to make the business be about her beloved niece Devon, who died from a heart defect in 2003. Since she opened Jenson Natural Jewelry in 2017, she has been able to share Devon’s story worldwide and has created a legacy in her name by donating 10% of her business profits to Children’s Hospital in Devon’s memory as well as to other non-profits that Kristine cares about. She has been able to take the heartbreak of losing her niece into a company that spreads hope and love to the world. www.jensonnaturaljewelry.com

Today's guest is: Hannah Lee, LSW, CYT

Hannah Lee, LSW, is a therapist and yoga instructor at Room To Breathe Psychotherapy and Yoga in Chicago, IL. A social worker by training, Hannah worked on social issues such as housing, incarceration, and access to higher education before joining Room To Breathe. There she provides individual and group therapy, focusing primarily on trauma healing; perinatal mental health; parenting/caregiving; identity exploration for people of color; and neurodiversity. She is a graduate of RTB’s psychologically sensitive yoga teacher training and teaches a weekly online class.

In both yoga and therapy, Hannah and Room To Breathe emphasize accessibility, autonomy, and the importance of participants building an internal sense of safety. By prioritizing “function over form,” participants have the space to explore the sensation of postures and experiences without the pressure of achieving a particular form or outcome. Practicing these values in the yoga and therapy spaces changes the power dynamic in the room and can be a tool for healing for folks that have had their choice taken away from them. Hannah and Room To Breathe know that these are practices that benefit everyone, not just those that identify with a trauma history, and hope that both participants and practitioners can learn how psychologically sensitive care can benefit everyone.

    Today's guest is: Christina Cohee

After suffering with chronic and mystery illness for over 20 years, Christina found yoga therapy. This was the beginning of a turning point in her healing journey. Combining tools from yoga therapy with principles of neuroplasticity, she has healed from over 15 chronic conditions. She is now a certified yoga therapist. Christina holds bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art, Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Business Certificate from UT’s McComb’s School of Business.

In addition to being a yoga therapist, Christina is a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance. She also holds certifications in restorative yoga and Yoga for 12-Step Recovery. She teaches public classes, sees private clients, mentors teachers and yoga therapists, and serves as a faculty member for Practice School of Yoga Therapy in Austin, Texas. Her work with clients comes from a place of lived experience with chronic illness and recovery. She enjoys guiding clients with dysregulated nervous systems, trauma, and chronic conditions to befriend their bodies, connect with joy and ease, and ultimately connect with and live from their wholeness.
