Iowa mother Ilene Gowan, 60, was last seen on surveillance footage leaving her job at Sugar’s Lounge and Diner in Council Bluffs on February 12. She got into Brammer’s Ford F-150, and traffic cameras captured the vehicle again the following morning. Inside, her body was awkwardly slumped in the passenger seat.
She was still wearing the same clothes from the parking lot footage, except for one missing shoe. Her cellphone and purse were also gone.
Investigators later discovered that her personal safe—containing approximately $1,200—was missing as well.
When concerned family members and colleagues called 911, police turned to CCTV footage to unravel the truth and expose the lies of the person responsible for her murder.
