  • What’s Holding You Back From Your True Potential?
Today, I’m sitting down with the one and only Eric Thomas—a man whose energy and wisdom can shift your entire perspective. Known as the hip-hop preacher, ET has impacted millions, but today, we’re taking it deeper. If you’ve ever felt stuck, unsure, or like your potential is just out of reach, this conversation is for you.

Eric opens up about the power of taking ownership of your life. He shares his journey from homelessness to becoming one of the most recognized voices in the world. The secret? Shifting from victimhood to victory. “When you take responsibility, you take the power back,” Eric reminds us. It’s not about ignoring the obstacles; it’s about recognizing that your greatest asset is already within you, waiting to be activated.

We dive into the discipline it takes to achieve greatness—how effort can’t be conditional on circumstances, and why consistency matters more than talent. Eric’s transparency about his struggles and triumphs reveals the hard truth: growth requires doing the hard things, breaking through resistance, and keeping your promises to yourself, even when it’s inconvenient.

One of the most moving parts of our conversation is Eric’s take on faith. He talks about finding strength in a higher purpose and using that relationship as an anchor to stay grounded, focused, and inspired. “God doesn’t give you a purpose without giving you the tools to fulfill it,” he says. This isn’t just motivation—it’s a call to action to tap into the gifts already inside you.

    Key Takeaways:

Ownership Equals Freedom: Stop giving others control over your life. Take full responsibility for your actions and choices.

Activate Your Potential: The greatness you’re searching for isn’t outside of you; it’s already within. You just need to access it.

The Grind Has Levels: Talent can only take you so far. True success comes from systems, discipline, and relentless effort.

Faith as Fuel: A strong connection with your purpose and a higher power can transform the way you live and lead.

Consistent Action: Success is built day by day, habit by habit, moment by moment. Stay consistent and watch your life change.

This is your reminder that no matter where you are, your next level is waiting. It’s time to step into your power, own your story, and become the person you were always meant to be. Let this episode ignite your greatness. It’s not too late to start—activate it today!

  • So you want to be a millionaire—are you ready to do what it takes?
Let’s face it: the odds aren’t in your favor. Less than 1% of people make $1 million a year, and fewer sustain it for five years or more. But here’s the good news—it’s possible. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to change your financial future, today’s episode is about what it really takes to build wealth in a system that isn’t set up for everyone to win.

We’ll talk about the importance of living well below your means, creating smart habits, and avoiding the pitfalls that keep so many high-income earners from staying wealthy. Making more money doesn’t guarantee success; managing it does. Even if you’re working a minimum wage job, you can start small—saving $10 a month or cutting unnecessary expenses—to build the discipline that wealth requires.

For those dreaming of entrepreneurship, I break down why focus is your greatest ally. Trying to juggle multiple streams of income before mastering one? That’s a recipe for failure. Mastery, not distraction, leads to real success. And for those in service-driven careers, remember this: prioritizing your financial health doesn’t mean abandoning your purpose. It ensures you can continue making an impact without sacrificing your future.

The path to wealth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about mindset, discipline, and making tough decisions. Whether it’s cutting back, starting a side hustle, or finally creating a budget, the time to act is now. You’re one decision away from changing your life forever.

    Key Takeaways:

Wealth starts with habits: save first, live below your means, and prioritize financial health.

Entrepreneurship requires laser focus—master one lane before diversifying.

Even in service-driven careers, financial planning is essential for long-term security.

One decision, made today, can completely alter your financial trajectory.

It’s never too late, and there’s always a way forward. I believe in you. Let’s make this the moment you take control of your financial future. God bless, and max out.

  • The Secret to Unlocking Success Is Closer Than You Think!
Have you ever wondered if you're overcomplicating the path to success? My guest today, Rory Vaden, reveals that the real key is simplicity. Rory is a personal branding expert, New York Times bestselling author, and the mastermind behind some of the biggest names and brands in business. We tackle the myths of success, personal branding, and the real meaning of entrepreneurship—and let me tell you, this conversation is packed with game-changing insights.

Rory breaks down why building trust—not chasing followers—is the ultimate goal of any personal brand. He shares how the digitization of your reputation can create life-changing opportunities, even if you’re “just starting out” or running a local business. You don’t need a massive following or slick content; what you need is to add value by being educational, encouraging, or entertaining. Rory's "depth over width" strategy will completely reframe how you approach your business and personal relationships.

We also dive into why multiple streams of income aren’t the secret to wealth. Rory’s approach? Focus on one thing, master it, and let depth create abundance. We explore his concept of "fractal math," which proves you don’t need more customers to scale—you need to serve your existing clients better and deeper.

What struck me most was Rory’s perspective on entrepreneurship as a form of expression. Whether you're a small business owner, a creative, or climbing the corporate ladder, your work can become your art. But it only becomes worth it when it brings you peace.

    Key Takeaways:

Why trust is the foundation of your personal brand.

The truth about scaling: Depth, not width, creates real impact.

How to focus your energy on one income stream to build wealth.

The connection between service, peace, and success in business and life.

Let this be your wake-up call: Success isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing better. Start serving, start simplifying, and start building your life on principles that last.

  • Unlocking the Secrets of Super Communication: Words That Win!

What if I told you that the way you communicate could be the key to your success in relationships, business, and life? In this episode, I’m sitting down with the brilliant Charles Duhigg, author of Words That Win, along with insights from legendary communicators like John Maxwell, Chuck Wisner, Les Brown, and others, to uncover how super communicators connect deeply, influence others, and make their words truly impactful.

We explore the three types of conversations that shape every interaction—practical, emotional, and social—and why mismatching them can cause disconnection. Charles and I discuss the art of active listening, including his game-changing concept of “looping for understanding,” which transforms not just what you hear but how others feel heard. Plus, we dive into how asking meaningful, deep questions can unlock hidden stories and values in others, forging connections that last a lifetime.

You’ll hear Charles’s incredible story of a CIA recruiter whose career pivoted when he learned how to match emotions and communicate vulnerably. We also discuss how communication isn’t just verbal—your tone, gestures, and even laughter can build trust or erode it. Non-verbal cues and emotional intelligence play pivotal roles, as Bedros Keuilian and Les Brown share how they use these tools to inspire and lead.

    Key Takeaways:
    - The three conversation types and how to identify and match them for stronger connections.
    - Why active listening is more about what you do after someone speaks than during.
    - How vulnerability and storytelling break down barriers and build trust.
    - The role of non-verbal communication and emotional reciprocity in creating lasting bonds.
    - Practical strategies for handling tough conversations and reducing judgment in disagreements.

  • How’s that self-criticism working out for you?
If being hard on yourself was the key to success, wouldn’t it have worked by now? The truth is, many of us are our own worst enemies, holding ourselves to impossible standards and punishing ourselves when we fall short. This week, I’m breaking down the critical shift you need to make: separating who you are from your mistakes and learning to treat yourself with the grace and belief you truly deserve.
We often think self-love means settling, but it’s the opposite. Real self-love comes from expecting better because you believe deeply in your potential. If you constantly criticize yourself, you reinforce the wrong narrative about who you are. Thoughts are powerful—like magnets, they draw experiences that match your self-beliefs. Change the story you tell yourself, and you’ll change what you attract in life.
I’ll share why you must become your own biggest fan. It’s not just about positivity; it’s about raising your vibrational frequency to align with truth, not lies. The world’s most successful people don’t define themselves by their failures; they see setbacks as moments, not reflections of their worth. You can’t show up fully for your dreams or others if you’re tearing yourself down internally.
So here’s my challenge to you: Stop letting your inner critic run the show. Separate your behavior from your identity. Start rooting for yourself as fiercely as you would for your closest friend or your child. You deserve a life built on belief, not self-doubt.
    Key Takeaways:

Self-love isn’t settling—it’s expecting better because you believe in your potential.

Thoughts are magnets; the story you tell yourself shapes your reality.

Separate who you are from your mistakes; you are greater than any failure.

Start speaking to yourself with the same grace you’d give someone you love.

Your best life starts with the way you see yourself. Demand better because you know you’re worth it. Max out today, and let’s make your future something to be proud of. God bless.

  • Mastering Self-Control: 3 Rules You Need Today!
Ever feel like your goals are within reach, but self-discipline keeps slipping away? In this episode, I’ve brought together some of the most powerful voices in personal development—Eric Thomas, Monica Aldama, Tim Grover, Ben Newman, Ryan Holiday, and Sam Acho—to tackle the fundamental rules for self-control. Self-discipline isn’t something you’re born with; it’s a skill you build daily. So together, we’re laying out three game-changing rules to help you focus, stay consistent, and reach the next level.

First, I share a rule that transformed my productivity: identifying and eliminating “discipline stealers.” Whether it’s getting lost in sports highlights or scrolling on social media, these little distractions drain our focus and stop us from moving forward. When you understand what’s stealing your focus, you can cut it out and start making real progress.

Eric Thomas digs into the power of “getting real” with yourself and committing to self-discipline. He shares how he had to face his own habits head-on to become the success he is today. Ben Newman talks about sacrifice and why real discipline often means choosing the harder path when the easy one is right in front of you. Tim Grover breaks down the mindset that made legends like Kobe and Michael the best in the world—the relentless pursuit of self-mastery and mental toughness.

The next rule is about making discipline a habit by scheduling your priorities. From the outside, it might look like I’ve got ironclad self-discipline, but the truth is, I’ve built routines that keep me focused and performing at my best. Monica Aldama talks about her experience coaching college athletes and the importance of structure and accountability in keeping them focused on their goals. Sam Acho emphasizes that discipline isn’t just about scheduling work; it’s about making time for relationships and personal growth too.

Finally, it’s all about keeping the promises you make to yourself. Ryan Holiday shares insights on how small, consistent actions are the foundation of self-mastery. Start with keeping small promises—whether it’s completing your morning workout or shutting off distractions at work—and let those victories build up your self-control over time.

    Key Takeaways:

    - Identify Your Distractions: Recognize and eliminate the things that drain your focus, so you stay on track.
    - Schedule Your Priorities: Treat self-discipline like a muscle and build routines that make high performance natural.
    - Keep Promises to Yourself: Start with small promises and let them grow into powerful habits of self-control.

This episode is your roadmap for developing self-discipline that sticks. If you’re ready to cut out distractions, build routines that support your goals, and stay true to your vision, these three rules—and the wisdom from these guests—will set you up for success.

Take action on these rules, learn from these legends, and start unlocking your full potential with the discipline to achieve your biggest dreams!

If you're like most high achievers, you think you need more abundance in your life. But maybe what you're really missing is access—access to the deepest parts of yourself that drive a truly fulfilled life. I’m sitting down with my dear friend Brendon Burchard, a master of transformation and one of the most respected coaches in personal development, to uncover what really gets in the way of living with true freedom, joy, and abundance.
In this episode, we dig into what it means to achieve success without losing yourself in the grind. Brendon shares his insights on reaching high performance while protecting your sanity and relationships. He talks about how too many people push themselves to the top only to realize they’re more disconnected than ever—from others and from their own inner peace. We get into how you can stay clear and grounded by focusing on the four pillars every person really craves: aliveness, meaningful pursuits, connection, and growth.
I also share why so many people come to me feeling discouraged and lost—even if they’re already highly successful. When you keep the promises you make to yourself and live in alignment with your values, you elevate your energy and attract what you deserve. Brendon and I talk through why this inner clarity is essential if you’re going to build a life that’s not just successful but also deeply satisfying.

  • Who You Surround Yourself with Changes Everything!

The people in your life shape your destiny. In this powerful mashup, I bring together some of the most inspiring voices—Eric Thomas, Brendon Burchard, and Jay Shetty—to reveal the impact of your environment and relationships on your journey to success. Together, we break down why your circle can either propel you toward greatness or keep you exactly where you are. If you’re serious about changing your life, it’s time to take a hard look at who you’re letting influence you.

I’ve lived it myself—surrounded by people who kept me comfortable but didn’t push me to be better. It wasn’t until I evaluated who I spent the most time with that I understood the power of proximity. Eric Thomas drives home the importance of having people around you who bring energy, not drain it. Brendon Burchard and Jay Shetty share how the right influences don’t just accept who you are; they see the greatness in you and won’t let you settle.

In this episode, we talk about how to create an environment of growth, starting with the people closest to you. Do they set a high standard? Are they future-focused? Or do they keep you anchored in the past? Making even a few shifts in your relationships can lead to life-altering changes in your mindset, energy, and results.

    Takeaways:

    - Why your environment is more powerful than willpower alone.
    - How to identify friends who are “energy givers” vs. “energy drainers.”
    - Strategies to find people who push you to the next level.
    - Why future-focused relationships are key to growth.

Listen in, start building a circle that believes in your potential, and see how they’ll help you unlock it.

  • If you could go back and give advice to your younger self, what would you say?

That’s the question I got recently from a young man at a live event, and it’s one that hit me hard. I realized that I'd give up every dollar, every luxury, just to relive that energy, that drive. The truth? Right now is the youngest and most powerful you’ll ever be again. Whether you’re 20 or 53, there’s no better time to start living fully, with focus and intention.

One of the biggest lessons I wish I’d learned earlier? Only control what you can. So much of my life I spent trying to control outcomes, people’s opinions, or circumstances. But focusing on what I couldn’t change drained my energy and stole my peace. Imagine the freedom if you could just let go of that need to control every little detail and focus solely on what’s in your hands—your actions, your attitude, your growth. That’s where the power lies.

In this episode, I dive into the importance of protecting your energy—what I call your vibrational frequency. The highest energy wins. The most successful people aren’t just the most skilled or the smartest; they know how to show up with full presence, clarity, and focus when it matters most. To reach that level, you’ve got to stay aligned with your purpose and keep the distractions, doubts, and energy-draining worries out of your way.

Finally, I talk about raising your standards, not just setting goals. Goals are great, but they come and go. Standards? They shape who you become. Decide what level you’re truly comfortable with in every area of your life—relationships, finances, fitness—and watch how that “thermostat setting” drives you to either rise or cool back down. You will never exceed what you think you deserve, so set that thermostat high and surround yourself with people who challenge you to stay there.

    Key Takeaways:

Focus only on what you can control, and let go of the rest.

Protect your energy and show up with your best frequency.

Set and maintain high standards—don’t settle for less.

Surround yourself with people who push you to elevate.

This is your moment. Max out your life, kick some butt, and live so that, at the end, you’re proud of every single choice. God bless, and go all in.

He talks about how he built a mindset that not only pushes through but thrives in uncertainty. When he realized he wanted to experience private jet travel but couldn’t afford it, Jesse and his partner went straight to NetJets with nothing but a vision and unshakeable conviction. Against the odds, they secured a deal with Buffett’s team, setting the foundation for what became a game-changing business.

We also get into why Jesse believes routine kills creativity and how he designs his life around extraordinary experiences.
