Inventor and Owner/Operator of SnapRack. SnapRack is a modular and magnetic ribbon rack that allows the user to hand-build their rack and modify it to fit the number of ribbons they've acquired with ease, without continuously purchasing new ribbon racks. | I would like to talk about my product and business. Maybe some stuff about the Coast Guard too, I have some lifesaving stories I could share. It doesn't really matter to me too much, I'll talk about whatever and answer any questions you may have. |
I completed boot camp for the United States Coast Guard and was quickly stationed on CGC Finback in Cape May, New Jersey. After working there, I attended Machinery Technician School in Virginia and graduated in 2015. Then I was transferred to a small boat station in St. Ignace, Michigan. While there, I maintained and repaired our boats and also carried out law enforcement duties and search and rescue missions. During my time in Michigan I was accumulating ribbons frequently, and it never made sense to me that I had to purchase a new ribbon rack just to add a single ribbon. In 2019 I began thinking of different ways I could create a modular ribbon rack that would be convenient for not only myself, but other service members as well. While starting my product research and development, I decided to change career paths and switch rates from MK to AMT. I attended AMT School in North Carolina and graduated in 2020. After that, I transferred to Mobile, Alabama where I currently work on C144’s as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.
I continued my product development and prototyping through all of 2021 and launched my store in 2022. The product I invented was getting more attention than I could have ever hoped for. My goal of creating a more convenient ribbon rack for service members was complete. But I still have more ideas for improving the SnapRack to make it the most versatile ribbon rack on the market. After working there, I attended Machinery Technician School in Virginia and graduated in 2015. Then I was transferred to a small boat station in St. Ignace, Michigan. While there, I maintained and repaired our boats and carried out law enforcement duties and search and rescue missions. During my time in Michigan, I was accumulating ribbons frequently, and it never made sense to me that I had to purchase a new ribbon rack just to add a single ribbon. In 2019 I began thinking of different ways I could create a modular ribbon rack that would be convenient for not only myself but other service members as well. While starting my product research and development, I decided to change career paths and switch rates from MK to AMT. I attended AMT School in North Carolina and graduated in 2020. After that, I transferred to Mobile, Alabama where I currently work on C144s as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.
I will continue to grow my business and supply the most convenient products to others who serve.

My name is Leandra and I am 26 years old. I've been active duty as a 74D (CBRN) since July 2017. I am currently an E6 and work at an EOD BN in the S3 Training Cell.
I am married to another SM, Joshua Moehring. We have 2 kids, but want at least 4 more.Topics you want to discuss
I want to talk about the toxicity surrounding SHARP cases and give advice for other service members about the process. After I stood up to my previous chain of command on Fort Bragg, they had it out for me. I reported SA and DV from my ex husband (who was also in the same unit). My command threatened to sue me for $50,000 for slander and libel (I have it on video still) and tried to find a reason to kick me out. Right around the same time, they gave me an Article 15 for fraternization (I was an E4 he was an E5).
All happening around the same time, I was demoted to E3, given extra duty for 2 weeks, pay taken, chapter paperwork initiated, and constantly threatened by my command. I started recording and taking screenshots. I reported my chain of command and my commander and 1SG were relieved of duty. I was moved to 192nd EOD with amazing leadership. I never gave up, finished all investigations through the military about SA/DV, finished civilian court cases, quickly promoted from E3 to E6 within 2 years, and doing better than ever. Now it's my mission to fight for other victims!
Also, when I was married to my ex he was cheating on me with his squad leader (in the same unit). I showed up to the barracks with her husband and she jumped from the 3rd story window and broke her back. She’s still in a wheelchair 3 years later so that’s kind of an interesting story too lolSupport the Show.
