  • Another international break for some, but not in League Two, as Jordan and Luke return to talk about the weekend’s action.

In this episode, the hosts discuss MK Dons’ rise under Scott Lindsey, frustrating times at Chesterfield and Colchester, and Crewe Alexandra continuing to impress. Alongside that, the two also touch on the protests at Morecambe, a couple of arguably questionable penalty decisions in a couple of games, and Ian Holloway’s interesting post-match interview about how the Swindon training faculties are haunted.

  • After a week away due to it being FA Cup weekend (in which Grimsby lost to a struggling National League side), Jordan, Jake and Keiron return to talk about the return of the fourth division, including Port Vale’s unbeaten run coming to an end, Morecambe and Carlisle leaving it late to pick up huge victories down at the bottom of the table, and Tranmere scoring more than one goal to win a football match.

The hosts also touch on the impressive team goal scored by Notts County, as well as an assist of the season contender from Grimsby’s Kieran Green (AKA ZineGreen Zidane – this definitely wasn’t typed by Jordan btw).

  • Well…

With Grimsby playing MK Dons over the weekend, Luke is clearly more upbeat than Jordan on this one, as the two dive into the events at Blundell Park, as well as the rest of the action in League Two, including another Port Vale win (they’ve been pretty good at that recently), Doncaster taking down Bradford in a Yorkshire derby, and Ian Holloway, looking like a Boy George tribute act, might as well have started work as Swindon manager on Saturday than his planned start date of Monday.

The two also take a closer look at the situation at Carlisle United, and discuss if Mike Williamson is already on thin ice at the club following yet another defeat.

  • It’s been all change over Swindon Town. The club, who sit in 22nd in the League Two table have made the decision to part ways with manager Mark Kennedy and replace him with… Ian Holloway? (That’s not a typo btw)

Jordan, Luke and Keiron sit down and discuss the changes in the dugout over at The County Ground, which includes some very strong opinions on the former Premier League manager from Jordan in particular, who had the pleasure (or displeasure, however you judge the criteria), of Holloway recently managing his club, Grimsby Town.

  • In a rare event where all four of the teams that the hosts support won, only Jordan and Jake show up to discuss all of the midweek action that took place in the fourth division.

In this episode, we talk about if Port Vale are the real deal, is Lindseyball starting to become a thing at the “biggest club in the league” MK Dons, as well as continued discussions about Mark Kennedy’s future at Swindon following some really bizarre comments, and how Jordan is desperate to buy a referee a pint after another Grimsby win in which they break into the playoff places (that’s mental in itself!)

  • Jordan, Jake and Luke waited way over an hour than originally scheduled due to Keiron’s appalling university accommodation Wi-Fi but when he did eventually join (via a hotspot in the end), the hosts talked about Darren Moore’s impact as Port Vale go top of the league, Morecambe FINALLY getting that first win under their belts and if Carlisle are in a relegation battle after another defeat, this time, to AFC Wimbledon who returned home following their pitch being destroyed by a flood.

A few other things that were also discussed included a Swindon win in which they’re nearly threw away, an eventful contest in the East Midlands, and Jordan getting one over Jake with Grimsby victorious at Salford.

  • Crazy day of football for League Two!

Just 10 games this week in League Two after a couple of postponements for international fixtures. However, there was arguably more drama this week than there had been the rest of the season, with Swindon failing to beat a side with a defender in goal for over 45 minutes, Newport implode and Colchester stutter.

    Oh and Grimsby lost.

    <p>The post

  • The 2024/25 League Two season is fast approaching and that means fans, pundits and the media all attempt to predict what the new campaign holds.

Wrexham, Stockport County, Mansfield Town and Crawley Town made their way out of the league, replaced with Cheltenham Town, Port Vale, Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United. Whilst Chesterfield and Bromley made their way out on non-league at the expense of Forest Green Rovers and Sutton United.

This season is shaping up to be a highly competitive and tight league, with a host of new managers and new players attempting to get to grips with the fourth tier.

With that the Fourth Tier Fever hosts have attempted to compile their own table.
