I talk about one of my favourite topics; seasonal styling ideas! Even though the weather has been a bit pants here in the UK, you can bring seasonal joy inside with some really simple changes. The tips I share are budget-friendly and applicable whether you rent or own. I also share what I've been up to in our rental, including my obsession with our rental garden.

This week on the Fresh Nest podcast, we're tackling renovations again - it seems to be a really hot topic and one that I get asked about a lot!
Following on from a recent episode about surviving a renovation, a listener got in touch to ask what to do when you need to compromise during a renovation and how to keep hold of the exciting bits too.
So I've recorded a whole episode talking about how to compromise, what to prioritise within your budget, and where to spend and where to save. As always, this is full of practical tips and suggestions for what to focus on if things aren't quite going as planned.
This episode is for you if your renovation budget has been blown and you need to figure out what to prioritise in your renovation. This is something I get asked about a lot, so I'm looking forward to sharing this with you and hope you find it helpful!

This week's episode of the Fresh Nest podcast is all about how to create a sense of home when things feel uprooted.
This episode is in response to a question I had on Instagram all about staying grounded and having a sense of safety and security when things may be feeling chaotic.
So for example, you might be living elsewhere temporarily, travelling, house sitting, moving back in with your parents - this episode is for you if the idea of "home" is feeling a bit up in the air!
I talk about how important it is to have a solid sense of home wherever we are as well as some practical tips to make anywhere feel like home.
Leveraging the untapped power of our home can have really far reaching consequences, so I hope you find this episode helpful for you, no matter what's going on for you at the moment!

Welcome back to the Fresh Nest podcast, and this week, we're talking all things renovation!
This episode is inspired by a client of mine who's about to embark on a major renovation, as well as a couple of pals who have recently lived through renovations whilst living in the building site.
If you are embarking on a renovation and will be living at the house for some or all of it, it can be really stressful. And sometimes there is simply no helping it. But there are actually some really big benefits too, even if it's hard to remember when you're surrounded by dust and chaos!
During this episode, you're going to be hearing from a real mix of people - I'll be sharing my own advice, but also advice from Instagram, friends, clients and students too.
So tune in for a bumper 15 tips on how to live during your renovation!

It’s here! The second part of my two part podcast series on one of my favourite subjects: art!
Last time on the Fresh Nest podcast, I shared a ton of tips and tricks on how to actually go about picking beautiful pieces for your home. So hopefully you’re now feeling ready for the next bit - hanging and framing!
This is a big topic, and I’ve got so much to share with you on this, whether you decide to hire someone to help you or whether you end up DIYing the whole thing yourself. From gallery walls to deciding how to mount your pieces, this week’s episode of the Fresh Nest Podcast is full of practical tips on how to display your art pieces and how to use them to bring personality to your home. -
I’m diving into one of my favourite topics on this week’s episode of the Fresh Nest Podcast - this isn’t a listener request, it’s a Hannah request!
We are talking about all things art! And I have so much to say on this that this week’s episode is actually the first part of a two part series all about introducing art into your home.
Art and decorative objects offer a great opportunity to inject your personality into your home. I am using the term ‘art’ really loosely in this context because you certainly do not need any special experience to buy art! Think scarves, clothing, kids’ drawings, anything you can display on a surface or a wall basically!
For part one, I’m chatting about how to go through the process of choosing art for your home and tons of ideas on how to find affordable art.

Let’s talk all things colour!
I’ve been asking you what topics you’d like to see me chat about on the Fresh Nest Podcast, and I got a great query recently on one of my favourite topics: colour!
The question was around how to use colour in your home in a more creative way, beyond just painting walls. And I have so much to say on this topic!
We all know how powerful and impactful colour can be on us, and I love that colour is a relatively inexpensive way of transforming a room. If you cannot afford fancy fabrics, papers and furniture, you can still make a huge design impact in your room using colour. And I’m going to show you how!
In this week’s episode, I’m going beyond the colour basics and sharing lots of tips and tricks for adding colour to your home in a fun, creative and fresh way. I’ll chat about what to avoid and what to experiment with.

A question I get surprisingly regularly is how to keep on top of daily life at home; what habits I have, what do I recommend to keep the house feeling functional and calm, how to stay on top of clutter in daily life etc. because keeping on top of daily life and home stuff is closely linked to how the house looks overall, and our own happiness and calm levels. If things feel chaotic and disorganised, if there is a lot of mess and clutter; it’s really draining physically and emotionally. We all deserve to have a home that fills us with happiness, that works for us, and that makes us feel really good!So in this episode of the Fresh Nest podcast, I’m talking all things organising when it comes to your daily home life. I’m also going to share what I do in my home personally too, in the hopes that it’ll help you out too.Sign up for the Fresh Nest e-course: https://www.hannahbullivant.com/freshnestSign up for my 7 day Fresh Nest challenge (only £9!): https://www.hannahbullivant.com/fresh-nest-challengeListen to my Spring playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3JhXGzLf8QwGEwpdPHhDt7?si=39f2a91857bb4c62&nd=1

Let's talk about spring!
I love celebrating seasonal shifts in my home with my family - any excuse to celebrate, right?
For me, it is about marking and celebrating each shift of the season. It's about noticing and grounding ourselves. It's about stepping out of the busyness of daily life, the ridiculousness of daily life sometimes, and just going, huh, the world has changed, isn't that wonderful?
