In this weeks poddy, I chat to you about "What Sparks You Joy?". Yes, I'm referring to one of the fundamental components from Marie Kondo's rules in regards to decluttering, but not in the sense of just materialistic items. We delve into how we can use this rule and apply it to each aspect of our lives, including (but not limited to) our job/career, our hobbies, friends and family.
I also have a wee chat about how I've been implementing this into my own life, and how asking myself something as simple as "what sparks me joy" has lead to a total turn around in what I want in life and my career. I also touch on "creative burnout" and the mentality of "work hard, hustle hard" and how it's not sustainable long term.

Are you an empath? Are you easily affected by the emotions of others? Do you get upset or overwhelmed by news or current affairs? Do you pick up on others "vibes", both positive and negative? Do you sometimes feel feelings so deeply they make you physically unwell? Or are you just having a tough time trying to navigate how you feel in the "grey zone" that is 2020? Then do yourself a favor by snuggling down somewhere comfortable with your favorite, comforting beverage, pop on your headphones and lets chat...
ALSO, apologies re. audio. I was recording this podcast while in my car (hence the road noise) but I was recording hands free!
