Welcome back! Today’s podcast comes to you from high on the Mountains of Israel. Brayden and Tali share with you the beauty of waiting to see the face of our messiah. It’s interesting that in the story of Abraham being willing to offer Isaac as a sacrifice, the next time Issac is mentioned in Genesis is when he sees his bride. What a beautiful picture of what Yeshua has done, and will do for us.

Buried underneath all the seemingly miscellaneous instructions in this week’s portion, like how we are not to mix wool and linen or the responsibility of putting up a safety fence around of roof of one’s home, we can see that it’s actually for the purpose of our relationship with God and showing once again, the importance of keeping ourselves set apart.

This weeks portion speaks of not removing a landmark that has been established by the fathers. While the literal meaning of this is to not move boundary stones of a neighboring property it can have a spiritual application as well.
The heart of honoring a boundary that has been set is to approach cultural issues in a way that does not lead to continual breakdown between generations.
The world is relentlessly pushing for people to conform to its standards of dress speech values etc. and normalize things that in previous generations would have been seen as wrong.
In this episode, we will look at the topic of modesty from a biblical perspective and one that seeks to honor the boundaries that today, are being blurred more than ever between male and female.
May the joyful radiance of God shine on you as you seek to “glorify Him in your body and in your spirit which are Gods” (1 Cor 6).

This Torah portion Re’eh speaks of the need to care for the Levites. Deut 14:27 “And you shall not neglect the Levite who is within your towns, for he has no portion or inheritance with you.”
This desire to care for those ministering to the Lord was something very important to Nehemiah. In the latter part of the book of Nehemiah, he rebukes the people for not giving portions to the Levites. In this podcast, Brayden & Tali take a panoramic view of the book of Nehemiah to get a better idea of the things that motivated his zealous heart. Join us as we look at the reality of enemy resistance and the sweet joy of a task completed in the kingdom of God.

In this episode, Brayden and Aaron share how God’s heart is that our good works would come from a humble place with a pure heart seeking to honor Him, rather than a place of pride and selfishness seeking to bring praise to ourselves.

In this episode, Aaron and Victoria talk about the “hard” love of God.
His corrections of us, come not from a place of anger, but from a desire to draw us away from the things that would bring us pain or hurt. Just as a father corrects his son who he delights in (prove 3:12).

In this week’s portion, the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh tell Moses that they don’t want to cross the Jordan. After Moses rebukes them, the men agree to go over and fight, but ask to leave the women and children behind. In this conversation, the priority of caring for the children is revealed as less important to these tribes than their desire to increase material wealth. What are your priorities? Are you spending time with your family even if it means you need to cut back on time at the job? Generations are at stake. As you provide for your families physical needs don’t forget the eternal importance of raising up your children in the ways of God. Want to learn more about our ministry? Balaam seemed to be a God fearing man. But what we find underneath his outward display, of caring what God wants, is a man full of greed and wicked counsel.
Many in the church today are participating in what the book of Revelation calls “the doctrine of Balaam”. This doctrine teaches an outward show of godliness, but inwardly is full of dead men’s bones.
Be encouraged to cut this deadly doctrine off at the root. Be a disciple who lives fully for the will of God both openly and in the secret place where no one sees but God alone.

In this episode, Aaron and Brayden discuss why we go through testing. What’s its purpose, and why does God allow it?
Faith is refined through fire, and an untried faith is a weak faith. In order for our faith to be strong, it must be tested. In fact, we should even welcome it as David did.
