The Flames struggled in OT this week, dropping extra time decisions to Boston and Ottawa but the managed to send us home with an early Christmas W.
Today we’re chatting Jonathan Huberdeau’s hot streak (and why, despite his nice stretch we still don’t want to see him in OT), the kids leading the way of late, the return of Elias Lindholm, and trying to settle the Vladar vs Wolf conversation.

The Flames, in classic fashion, flipped flopped between crushing wins and strong victories going 2-2-0 this week against Dallas, Nashville, Tampa, and Florida.
Today we're talking Dustin Wolf and why the Flames have to give him the reigns in the net moving forward. HE IS THE FUTURE. As well, we're breaking down a big win against some old friends on the Florida Panthers.

The Flames scoring woes and struggles on the road continued as they find themselves in a nasty skid that included losses to Dallas and St. Louis this week. Are we back in tank mode? It seems to shift every week!
Today we're breaking down the past week of games, looking at how the Flames should be getting more young players into the lineup, whether or not they should consider trading Rasmus Andersson, and of course a review of welcoming the Gaudreau family back to the C of Red.

Just as the Flames were making believers out of us…they drop four straight on the road to some less than stellar opponents. Right now it seems impossible to score and if the goaltending isn’t perfect, impossible to win.
Today we’re breaking down the nasty road trip before shifting the focus to Johnny Gaudreau ahead of the Flames home date with the Blue Jackets.
Johnny’s family has arrived in Calgary and will be honoured pre game in what will be an emotional and heartfelt evening.

Wolfmania is sweeping the league as the Flames, led by their rookie netminder, are absolutely on fire. Don't look know, but the good guys in red are second in the Pacific division and making true believers out of us.
We're breaking down the 4-0-0 homestand sweep and trying to make sense of how and why the Flames are finding success through the quarter mark of the 2024-25 season.

Dustin Wolf is locked and in single handedly keeping the Flames in the playoff picture. This week we’re focusing in on Wolf, reviewing the Flames 2-1-0 week that saw them blank the Preds, own the Kings, and drop a game to the Canucks.

Hey, folks today we're checking in following a week of games that saw the Flames battle back to force OT in three straight. Matt Coronato ripped home the winner against the Habs in record fashion (and then was apparently not good enough to see prime OT ice again) while the Flames then dropped extra time decisions to the Bruins and Sabres.
Coronato is rolling but we have some serious gripes with how the lineup is being handled at the moment (as usual) so let's get into it.

The Flames are a month into their season and it's been streaky start to say the least. The hot start cooled off quick with ugly losses to Vegas and Utah followed up by a shutout victory over Jacob Markstrom and the New Jersey Devils. Most recently the Flames dropped the ball and didn't bring the juice in the second instalment of the Battle of Alberta.
Today we're looking at the last string of games with a focus on some of the head scratching lineup decisions Ryan Huska and his staff have been implementing.

The Winnipeg Jets and Carolina Hurricanes handed the Flames their first two regulation losses of the season. Despite some good efforts it looks like the boys might be coming back down to earth a little bit.
We're breaking down the past week of hockey while also lamenting the assignment of Matt Coronato to the AHL (FREE THE BISON!).

The Flames are off to a torrid start banking nine of a possible 10 points to kick off the season. Despite dropping the ball in OT against Seattle, the Flames remain unbeaten in regulation.
We're breaking down the hot start, Craig Conroy's plan in action, and more!

Well butter my butt and call me a Christmas biscuit, the Calgary Flames are 3-0-0 to start the season!
Jonathan Huberdeau is hot (this is not a drill). Marty Pospsil and Connor Zary are picking up right where they left off last year. Weegsy is blasting bombs. Razzy is dangling McDavid and staring everybody down. The vibes...immaculate.
We're breaking down huge W's vs the Canucks, Flyers, and Coilers and looking at how the Flames are looking to form their identity this season.

Training camp is in full swing and excitement is in the air, boys...it's almost hockey season. Today we're looking the pros on and cons of tanking this year (pro: we don't lose our first round pick to Montreal; con: I can't think of any cons) and breaking down what we've seen from the likes of Matt Coronato, Sam Honzek, and Zayne Parekh at training camp.

It was our absolute honour to watch Johnny play for the Calgary Flames and an absolute privilege to have his entire family represent our city. God Bless the entire Gaudreau family.

Today we had a chance to chat with all time Flames great d-man, Robyn Regehr. We loved Reg's insights on the the job Craig Conroy has done as GM, what made Darryl Sutter such a great coach, his trade out of Calgary, the new arena construction, and more. It was a really fun conversation and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Hey, folks. Hope you're enjoying the summer. While we work on getting more guests on we thought we'd have a chat about the Flames most decorated and perhaps most hyped young stud, Dustin Wolf. With the crease clear of Jacob Markstrom, it's finally time for Wolfie to get the chance he's earned. We believe in Dustin Wolf...and how could you not? The guy has dominated the WHL and AHL while putting up record after record and winning countless awards.
We're reviewing his path to the NHL and looking at expectations for Wolf heading into the upcoming season.
Also, we've become big St.Louis Blues fans this past week.

Today we are super stoked to be joined by Flames prospect, Andrew Basha. Drafted in the second round, the Medicine Hat Tigers star is a local kid who grew up cheering for the Flames. He's a great guy and we chatted about growing up in Calgary, memories of the Johnny Gaudreau era, the excitement of the new group of prospects, and more! (Garrison Pub is now officially the new HQ, boys).
Enjoy!

Today we are joined by former captain of the Calgary Wranglers, Brett Sutter, to chat about his hockey career, being part of the Sutter family, and transition to coaching. Brett hung up the laces at the end of the season to take on a new role with the Wragnlers as an assistant coach (we all know coaching runs in the family) and was kind enough to jump on with us for a great interview.
Enjoy, buddies.
