Betty Lou Beets, a woman from Texas, had a tumultuous life filled with multiple marriages and criminal activities. She was convicted of murdering her fifth husband, Jimmy Beets, and her fourth husband, Doyle Barker. Betty Lou's criminal record also included public lewdness and shooting her first husband, Robert Branson. She went through multiple trials and appeals before being sentenced to death by lethal injection in 2000. This conversation explores the details of Betty Lou Beets' life and crimes.

Kenneth Eugene Smith was hired by Reverend Charles Sennett Sr. to kill his wife, Elizabeth Doreen Sennett. Smith, along with John Forrest Parker, beat and stabbed Elizabeth to death in her Alabama home. The murder was staged as a home invasion. Smith was convicted and sentenced to death, but his conviction was vacated on appeal. He was retried and sentenced to life without parole, but the judge overruled and sentenced him to death again. Parker was also sentenced to death and executed in 2010. Williams, another accomplice, was sentenced to life and died in prison in 2020. Smith's execution was scheduled multiple times but was botched and ultimately called off. He was later scheduled to be executed by nitrogen hypoxia, a method that had never been used before in Alabama.

David Allen Rayleigh is a convicted murderer currently on death row in San Quentin. He worked as a guard at the Caroland Mansion and gave unauthorized tours, often targeting high school girls. On February 2nd, 1985, he lured two teenage girls to the mansion, forced them into the basement safe, and proceeded to beat, rape, and stab them. He then put them in his trunk and drove to a ravine, where he dumped them. One of the girls survived and identified Rayleigh. He was convicted and sentenced to death, but due to a referendum on the death penalty in California, his execution may never happen.

Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch, also known as the Black Angel and the Angel of Death, was an Argentine serial killer. He was convicted of multiple murders, robberies, rapes, and kidnappings. Puch's criminal career started in 1968 when he stole a motorcycle, and he continued to commit crimes until his arrest in 1972. His trial took eight years, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Puch is currently the longest-serving prisoner in South American history.

In 1988, Michael Mickey and Trudy Thompson were gunned down outside their home in Bradbury, California. The case remained unsolved until 2001 when Michael Goodwin, Mickey's former business partner, was charged with the murders. Goodwin and his wife had bought gold and wired money to offshore accounts before leaving on their yacht. Goodwin was eventually found guilty and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. Michael Lee Lockhart was born in Walbridge, Ohio on September 30th, 1960. Not much is known about his early life. Lockhart was busted for driving a stolen Chevrolet Corvette in Beaumont, Texas by Officer Paul Hulsey, Jr. Backup found Hulsey dead in the motel room. An all-point bulletin was issued for the Corvette and was soon spotted. A high-speed chase led to a crash leading to Lockhart's capture on March 22nd, 1988. Evidence of his crimes were found in the car. He would be convicted of Officer Hulsey's murder and sentenced to death in Texas.

Donald Pee-wee Gaskins Jr. was a serial killer in South Carolina who committed multiple murders through various methods. He had a long criminal history before his murder convictions. Gaskins was sentenced to death but later pled guilty to multiple murders and received 10 concurrent life sentences. He committed another murder while in jail and was eventually executed.
