They introduced the augmented reality tool last year as part of a trial which had really positive results. This week we have Scott Simpkin speaking to us, Campaigns Team Leader for Seedrs, who tells us all the secrets to crowdfunding. Previously an entrepreneur himself, Scott Simpkin joined Europe’s leading equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs as a Campaigns Associate in April 2017. Scott’s role at Seedrs is to work with businesses from the very beginning of the fundraising journey, helping these businesses undergo a successful campaign. Since joining, Scott has helped over 50 businesses such as Allplants, Mercato Metropolitano and Marcopolo Learning successfully complete their campaign on Seedrs, and he holds 5 different mentorship roles at accelerator programmes across the country. Seedrs is a platform for investing in startups and later-stage businesses throughout Europe, and is currently the UK's most prolific funder of startups (in 2019, 212 businesses funded on Seedrs).
