  • Have you ever been around a Christ-follower who genuinely cares about lost people and thought, I wish I cared like that? In this program, Chip wraps up his series, Less is More: Decluttering Your Time with God. As he opens his Bible to Romans 1:16, Chip reveals what it means to be an unashamed witness for Jesus and explains how you can share the Gospel with your unbelieving friends and family.

    Main Points

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."

The power is in the Gospel message not the messenger.

  • Sometimes the truth really HURTS! Getting straight talk from a friend is about as fun as getting a speeding ticket. But we all need people in our lives who will honestly level with us! Chip explains why it’s so important to be a truth-telling-best-friend.

    Main Points

Why must we admonish one another?

It is a command. - Colossians 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:14Because we all have “blind spots.” - Psalm 19:12; 139:23-24 To become godly, holy, mature Christians. - Colossians 1:28-29 It cultivates deep, loving relationships. - 1 Thessalonians 2:8 Because sin destroys a believer’s life. - Romans 6:23Because we are members of one another. Unchecked sin impacts the whole body - Romans 12:4-5

    Who is competent to admonish?

It requires a life "full of goodness"It requires a life "filled with knowledge"It requires a "heart filled with love"

How to admonish - "the process":

Step #1: Examine your own life. - Matthew 7:3-5

    Step #2: Examine the Word. - 2 Timothy 2:15

    Step #3: Examine your motives. - 1 Corinthians 4:14

Step #4: Set a time to meet privately. - Matthew 18:15

Step #5: Ask specific questions to confirm data, and disarm the situation.

Step #6: Tenderly point out the sin; show them the Scripture that applies to them.

Step #7: If possible, develop a game plan, timetable, and follow-up meeting for support and follow-through.

Conclusion: Admonition is God’s antibiotic for the church; done Biblically, it is the most loving thing you can do … for all concerned.

Do you know God’s preparing a place where His children will enjoy those priceless relationships - forever? Theresa Ingram reminds us that that’s God’s promise.

    Main Points

God is preparing a home for me. - John 14:1-3

What is my home like? - Revelation 21-22:5

How can I live with the awareness each day that I am "Heaven bound"?

Faith is being sure and certain about unseen hopes and realities.Faith views things through spiritual eyes and perceives things invisible to the natural eye; believing when you can’t see the answer.Faith is not based on feelings; faith trusts God in spite of how you feel.Faith is not an evidence of outward circumstances. The outward circumstances may look impossible, but faith trusts in God in spite of how things look.Faith is not something that acts automatically; it’s not something that acts magically-not like a thermostat that automatically turns on and off.Faith is an activity; it has to be exercised. It does not come into operation by itself; you have to put it into operation. You put it into operation as you walk in obedience to God no matter what the circumstances look like.Broadcast ResourceDownload Free MP3 Message Notes Additional Resource MentionsPrayer Journal - GreyPrayer Journal - Brown About Theresa Ingram

  • Some people hug better than other people. Sometimes it feels like you’re hugging a 2 x 4, and other times it’s so soft and cushy it almost feels like you can’t breathe. Great aunts hug that way! Did you know God loves to give hugs? He does! How does He do that? Theresa Ingram answers that question in this program.
