Host Charles Zona published his experiences last year in his book: Ticket Stub Stories: A Memoir of Live Music, and started the podcast with his friend Doug Florzak. Doug is an indie musician, plays bass in Chicago band Wrought Iron Soul, and produces Seeing Them Live. Both men have interviewed listeners from all over, and are adding recent after show reports. I shared my concert stories with them earlier this year as a guest, and now this interview here. Learn their podcast's origin, and lyric analysis examples to Music Notes with Jess' format.

I luckily won again for this year's (9/28/24), but unfortunately couldn't stay the whole time due to unexpected weather. Global Citizen is a great non-profit organization advocating world issues, and accomplishing goals by society participating in their projects. Since 2012, they hold a free annual concert every last weekend in September, rewarding participants as winners to attend. Advocating more awareness and celebrity support, I recap my full concert review for 2024's recent festival.
