In this episode of the podcast we talked To Joe Nelson, whom you might currently know from his record label Trust Records which has been reissuing some classic records ( 7 seconds , SSD, Cicle Jerks and more) Joe has been a long standing member of the hardcore scene and he's been in quite a few bands including Ignite , The Killing Flame, Triggerman, Winds of Promise. We talked to him about his bands, Trust Records and alot of the cool shit that hes done in his life. It was a fun interview to do and Joe had a bunch of great stories.

On this episode we interviewed Chaka Malik of the bands Orange 9mm, Burn and Ghost Decibels. We talked to Chaka about getting into underground music and related topics. We talked to Chakka about going to the legendary Some records when it was open in NYC. We chatted about his various bands and we got into some cool off the beaten path discussion as well. This was a great discussion and Chaka is a very interesting individual.

On this episode we paid tribute to Tony Brooder who is most well known in Buffalo as being on the road with Snapcase forever. Tony recently passed away and was well loved by pretty much everyone that he knew. We invited several friends of Tony's on to pay tribute to Tony and to share some great memories of him .First Part is Daryl and Bob from Snapcase sharing memories, second part is Scott Sprigg talking about the nuts and bolts of the tribute and how you can help! Part three are some memories shared by some old friends of Tony's. There is a tribute show on 5/31/25 at the Rec Room in Buffalo featuring Snapcase, Buried Alive, Garrett Klahn , Revenge Therapists and Selfish Act. All proceeds will go directly to Tony's Family and there will be several fundraising raffles going on at the show as well.

Crunchface was a fanzine based in Akron , OH that was a great chronicle of the scene at the time . Derek was on before for a group interview that we did of the band in November of 2023 and hes finally back for a solo episode.
