We also discuss this year’s return of Halloween Horror Nights, people trying to cancel Jimmy Fallon, the Jophie breakup, and V’s Layover. For our NTBABBs we talk about rich people who brag about leaving none of their fortune to their children, and people who don’t go to HHN to just hang out.

Brooke and Katie attempt to make it up to all of our lovely little Bitch Butts who have been SO patient with our frequent hiatuses by bringing on a celebrity guest this week! Most of you know Dom Corona as a Disney Fine Artist and father to his dog, Nemo, but few know that he is also a Barb with exceptionally sensitive corneas and our friend of 5+ years. We discuss the iconic circumstances of how we all met, Dom becoming a Barb and meeting Nicki as a straight-presenting man, his evolving list of celebrity crushes, his college program, and more. Of course, we have to throw in a few hot topics that we’ve missed over these past couple of weeks including Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater, Barbenheimer Cardi B’s microphone incident, and of course, the latest happenings on And Just Like That. For our NTBABBs we discuss on call doctors that aren’t actually on call, bringing back the joy of going to a chain ice cream parlor, and fan projects at concerts.

Brooke and Katie reunite after a two week hiatus to rapid fire discuss many of the things we haven’t gotten to cover during our time off. We talk about our weekend trip to Atlanta for the Twice concert and Brooke’s birthday, including visiting the Center for Puppetry Arts, running into Momo and Nayeon at the Georgia Aquarium, and watching graphic sex scenes between Che and Miranda in And Just Like That. We also discuss Seven by Jungkook being raunchier than we ever could’ve imagined, Ariana Grande’s alleged divorce, Gigi Hadid smuggling weed, her ex Zayn on Call Her Daddy, Timothee Chalamet as Willy Wonka, Tokyo Toni’s latest antics, and almost meeting Mr. Morrow. For our NTBABBs we talk about people who stop in the middle of the road when they don’t know where they’re going and people who don’t allow themselves to have fun on the Fourth of July.
-
Brooke and Katie recap Katie’s weekend in California, talk about inches on Twitter who think Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is going to be failure, and unpack who goes to Pink concerts and how she has been on tour for the last several years consecutively. We also rank what we would most to least want to do out of hiking Mount Everest, going to space, or going to the bottom of the ocean in a submarine. For our NTBABBs we talk about little girls with hot tool styled hair and how themed cars need to make a comeback.
-
Brooke and Katie give our honest review on Pixar’s latest movie, Elemental. We express our excitement and anticipation for the first openly non-binary Disney/Pixar character, Lake Ripple, the annoying people in the theater ruining the experience for us, and discuss what was lacking in the romance between the two main characters. We also go through every Pixar movie up to 2015 and speculate which characters were secretly (or not-so-secretly) on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. We talk about the most random collaboration in recent history: TxT and the Jonas Brothers! For our NTBABBs we talk about people who make their familial relatives their child’s godparents and parents who surprise gift their child concert tickets or a major life event.
-
Brooke and Katie finally get to discuss our personal Super Bowl - the Duggar Family docuseries Shiny Happy People! We discuss everything we’ve learned about the IBLP cult, unfortunate follow ups on some of the commentators that include restraining orders for vicious abuse, unflattering things about the people involved that are conveniently left out of the show, and more. For our NTBABBs we discuss interrupting people to talk to them in the middle of the concert, and being mistaken for a conservative at work.
-
Brooke and Katie chat about BTS’ ten year anniversary and Festa, Mr. Morrow absolutely slaying, and a recap of Katie and Beth’s annual birthday bash. We also talk about the Stoney Clover Lane pride collection, Samantha making a cameo in And Just Like That, and Taeyong’s Shalala. For our NTBABBs we discuss mayonnaise haters and being attracted to Michael Cera.
-
Brooke and Katie give our full review and recount our experience seeing The Little Mermaid, but of course we can’t stay on topic the whole time! We also talk about the kickoff of Pride month, meeting and seeing celebrities at work, and ranking the live action Disney movies. For our NTBABBs we talk about people who wear Apple watches to weddings and Taylor Swift and Matty Healy being an unprecedented social experiment.
-
Brooke and Katie recount their trip to Atlanta to see Tomorrow x Together’s concert. Aside from the unbelievable talent and big budget production that went into this concert, we also talk about our out of body moments being noticed by our biases and how you can achieve moments like that as well. We can definitely be delusional, but we promise that was NOT the case here! For our NTBABBs we talk about elaborate wedding cakes that are barely edible and the lack of hand holding between parents and children these days.
-
We talk about Michael’s first cruise as an Adler and his brother Dave’s trip to an Oklahoma casino. The mask is off literally and figuratively as we commentate on Michael’s uncharacteristically healthy eating choices on the Disney Wish, his harping on how much he hates pretty much everything, and riding the AquaMouse with a mystery child among many other questionable things. We also talk about Dave’s return to vlogging on his trip to the world’s largest casino where he does no gambling and speaks in an unintelligible country accent. For our NTBABBs we talk about the over-romanticization of Paris and how underrated Farmer Wants A Wife is.

This week Brooke and Katie are VERY excited to welcome Rust Belt native and famous vlogger Vincent (@vincentprologo) to the podcast! We talk about Vincent’s experiences at nights one and two of the Nashville leg of the Eras Tour where Taylor announced Speak Now Taylor’s Version. We also discuss his world famous review of Roundup Rodeo BBQ in greater detail, including why the Mean Old Potato Salad was so nauseatingly bad and how many people in his party became ill throughout the meal. We also talk about Vincent’s recent trip to Universal Hollywood to experience Super Nintendo World and the Secret Life of Pets ride, Katie and Vincent’s review of the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie, an update on Taylor Swift and Matty Healy, Vincent’s celebrity crushes, and the opening night of the Renaissance Tour. For our NTBABBs we discuss Nashville being a bachelorette party hot spot, aphids, and there being no good authentic Italian food in the greater Orlando area.
-
Brooke and Katie are alone this week with some good old fashioned girl talk about all the things we haven’t gotten to discuss the past couple of weeks. Katie finally gets to relay her experience at the Eras Tour in Tampa, and we discuss the Twitter drama surrounding a particular Disney influencer’s attendance of multiple concerts on the tour. We also talk about our girls trip to Clearwater Beach and wonder what the synthetic drugs are made of that are sold in the gift shops there. We react to the And Just Like That season 2 teaser, the breaking and totally believable news of Taylor Swift and Matty Healy *ALLEGEDLY* dating, and the Met Gala. We unpack whether Trace Cyrus is attractive, who our Boygenius biases are, and who we would want to be dressed by for the Met Gala. For our NTBABBs we talk about how more couples should consider having only one child, and how we do not like seeing the voice actors of cartoon characters.
-
This week Brooke and Katie welcome our sweet friend Jamie Arena onto the podcast! We talk to her about her extensive experience freelancing in the film/TV world, and what it was like for her working on the set of Jersey Shore Family Vacation at the beautiful Margaritaville Resort right in our backyard of Kissimmee, Florida. We also discuss Ryan Gosling as a comedic actor in the Barbie movie, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell being a boring and already overexposed PR “couple”, who we would love to see in a rom com, and Coachella. In lieu of NTBABBs this week, Katie reads us an Am I The Asshole scenario from which we determine if she indeed is the asshole.
-
Brooke and Katie are elated and as shocked as you are to welcome our first STRAIGHT male guests onto the podcast: Evan and Mark! Longtime friends and fellow members of the Kay Brother Army, they join us this week all the way from Los Angeles via Zoom to talk about the objectively more honorable of the Kays. Together we unpack the hypnotic and dissociative series of vlogs chronicling Dave’s trip to Hawaii, including the endless wandering through the barren Covid-ridden city streets, impressive avoidance of some of the most beautiful natural landmarks in the world, and his rambling stream of consciousness that narrates the entire experience. We also talk about his music career, superhero characters he conceptualizes and acts out himself, and the interesting dynamic between him and his brother Michael. For our NTBABBs we talk about barbershop quartets, the lack of concert etiquette at the Eras Tour, forced tipping on iPads, and not paying for YouTube premium.

Brooke and Katie give the people what they want, and in honor of the upcoming holiday commentate on Dave Kay’s St Patrick’s Day in Ireland vlog. We also share the endless, sometimes bone-chilling similarities between Michael Kay and Michael Jackson. We also give a quick recap of all of the Kpop and pop culture news that we didn’t get the chance to talk about over the last three weeks, including j-hope’s military enlistment announcement, Jimin’s upcoming solo album, Face, and the Oscars. For our NTBABBs we discuss there not being enough ugly outfits to make fun of at the Oscars and being happy about the Hailey Bieber hate.

To close out the end of our thrilling trilogy, Katie and Brooke pick up where we left off last week on the cusp of what becomes known as “Michael’s Favorite Pandemic”. We discuss how Michael has lived out all Seven Deadly Sins before our very eyes, the restraining order he allegedly filed against one of his immediate family members, and his being a government nepotism baby. We also go over the controversial events leading to his downward spiral, including some questionable face paint, his Bl*e L*ves M*tter shirt, and his alleged DAS use and abuse. We also remember Katie and her dad meeting Michael at the Onward screening, the infamous now deleted Swan Gate fiasco, the cruise vaccination web of lies, the uncovering of Michael’s secret engagement, and Michael’s alleged legal and channel name change. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for listening to this series and giving us your feedback! We had so much fun making it and have loved laughing our asses off every week taking this walk down memory lane. :)

Brooke and Katie continue where we left off last week with Michael and his brother Dave’s fateful move to Florida. We cover the events that occur in the months following our favorite brothers becoming Florida Residents, including Dave marketing himself as an off-brand Michael who also makes VMA winning-music videos to original Grammy-winning songs. We also recount our personal real life encounters with the Kay brothers, and reminisce on their extensive dating app activity. For our NTBABBs we talk about people who gift DVC stays to Disney vloggers, the way Michael describes food, and his refusing to show his face in videos.

For all of our OG listeners, this one’s for you! Brooke and Katie begin our second deep dive series by throwing it back to the man we credit for planting the seed of our friendship - fallen from grace Disney YouTuber, Michael Kay! (Now known as JourneyTogether) We met Michael as a beloved self-proclaimed “Disney enthusiast” who charmed the pants off of midwestern cougars with his incredible knack for skin-tight Incredibles cosplay and enthusiasm for bison burgers. In the years since, he has found himself embroiled in accusations of grifting, deception, and Blue Life boot-licking. In this introductory episode we detail the origins of his channel as a bright eyed and bushy chested - I mean - bushy TAILED young man, reflect on our first impressions of Michael as true fans of his, and give a rundown of the motley crew that is his immediate family. We also read imagine POVs we used to write (as a JOKE), recite memorable quotes, and list our favorite vlogs on his channel. For our NTBABBs we discuss Ash Wednesday and Ariana DeBose not capitalizing off of her cringe awards show performance like she should have.
