Eastbourne, a town on England’s south coast, is often labelled ‘Heaven’s Waiting Room’ due to its large number of elderly inhabitants. For 68-year-old Clara Neil Miller, that couldn’t be more true. In rural Texas, 14-year-old Woody Harris is driving his parents home after a day of Christmas shopping in town. All is merry and bright, until they come across a large Buick parked in the road, blocking their way. Woody slows to a stop, and is shocked when Santa Claus himself steps out of the Buick. At 13 years old, Anatoly Moskvin found himself in a bizarre situation - invited into a house in the middle of a funeral wake. When he realised what was going on, he tried to leave. But the family of the deceased - a young girl - begged him to stay, and drew him close to the coffin. There, the girl’s mother performed a marriage ceremony between Anatoly and her daughter. Anatoly left the house that evening feeling like something inside him had changed forever. He would go on to dedicate his life to the study of death and black magic.
