Pierre Desrochers is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Toronto Mississauga. His main research interests are economic development, technical innovation, business-environment interface, and energy policy and food policy. He has published over 50 academic articles on these and other subjects in a wide range of academic disciplines. Desrochers has been the recipient of several awards for his work on environmental policy issues, including the 2017 Julian L. Simon Memorial Award (Competitive Enterprise Institute).
