On this episode we cover gaming while on vacation/your parent's house as Dan traveled back to his origins. Then we discuss Blake's ongoing quest to catch them all with Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. We then return to Dan's travels and holiday activities by discussing the card games 10 point pitch and hearts, both favorites of his families. Blake then discusses playing Kirby Allies which he checked out from the library........yes the library apparently now allows checking out of Switch games in the great white north. That brings us to the main topic of the day and that is Slay the Spire where Blake just started playing and his introduction to the game rekindled Dan's drive for the game. And lastly in the games that made us Dan discusses his 20 year relationship with Halo and early first impressions of Halo Infinite which the multiplayer has released and the campaign will release this week.
Thanks for listening and share any of your disgusting Slay the Spire builds with us on twitter at @QPGWOH.

Our hosts each give updates on their main games from the first episode and then each choose one other game to discuss. Blake discusses the now defunct TCG Star Wars Destiny and how he has purchased product for a discount and built more thematic decks to enjoy the game and the game setting casually with friends. Dan discusses a platform puzzler by the name of Inside that he was impressed by the art of the game. That's right he appreciated art, you know it must be beautiful for him to even notice. After this discussion the hosts combine forces to discuss a new game whose Kickstarter has just completed, Solforge Fusion. Our hosts are actively creating weekly content on Blake's YouTube channel for this game and recording a game or two per video of us playing with the latest iteration as the game is still undergoing final tweaks and balances. Lastly Dan brings up a game from his distant past for the Games that Made us section and discusses SNK's Baseball Stars for the NES.
