Embracing history to bring about a context of understanding, but also, we must be willing to realize the limitations of our history, as individuals, and as a church. We must be willing to learn from history, not just repeat it. Putting everything to the fire along the way. We should be mindful of those that have gone before us and bring forth all the good, but be willing to examine, change and adapt as well. That is the only way to become the people we were created to be, living in the time we were placed!

God built from the foundation of the world. He thought about every possible scenario, before He even started! This type of building is available to you and me. Reactions lead to often lesser-than outcomes. Which is why it is essential to learn to manage our reactions and respond in ways that do not threaten or destroy what we are trying to build.
