The Writers Moon group have created pieces of dialogue for radio set in the fictional ‘Small Change’ Café. The common thread in each piece will include a reference to better environmental choices and small changes that we can all make to live more sustainably. Recorded and edited for radio and podcast by Scariff Bay Community Radio the project has pieces written by four group members and voiced by nine radio actors. Anthony Lenihan

The launch event took place at Mountshannon Arts Festival in June 2024 where the participants and general audience gathered for coffee and local goods, tuned into the recording and followed with an interesting discussion on the topics raised. The Writer’s Moon Group meet once a month in Scariff library on a Tuesday evening to share and encourage each other’s writing journey.
