I hope you like this story! It took so much to translate it this time. Also, I added some funny conversations between the characters, and is hoping you like it.

If you are still watching this, you are a curious adventurer, seeking for more information. Wonderful!!!⭐️
I'll tell you more about 동지. First, there is a solar term. It's called a 절기 in Korean. There are 24 in total, and today is one of them. So I thought it would be appropriate to mention the solar term and explain today's solar term. A solar term was made to help the farmers to do better in agricultural affairs and farming activities. ☀️🌧️❄️🌏
A long time ago, Korea lived off by farming, so the 24 solar terms were very important, because it told people when to plant seeds, water them or even harvest them. It also influenced and IS influencing people's life including food, housing, transportation and clothings. 🏠✈️🍚👟
동지 is explained more thoroughly in the recording. It's one of the well-known solar terms along with 입춘, 경칩, 하지, 동지 and 입추.
As you listen to the episodes and this, please understand grammar, pronunciation, and spelling problems!😊
I hope you enjoyed today's episode! See you soon and stay tuned!!💜😍😆 -
Seon-nye and the woodcutter(선녀와 나무꾼)
A folklore, also a sad, heartbreaking story.
"Seon-nye and the woodcutter" is pretty popular. I chose this folklore as my 11th episode story because for those who don't know this story. After you read this book, you might learn why roosters cry so early in the morning. Or how roosters were created.... Before listening to this story, I recommend something.
First, make sure you know the word 'Seon-nye'. (If you don't, I recommend listening to "The Magic Fan"---I think I described the Seon-nye very well there. Oh and I think it'll be just wonderful if you know the word 'Oghwangsangje(옥황상제)'🙂)
Second, if you really want to understand the story well, search the word(두레박--a bucket looking thingie.) It is mentioned in the story and I just want you to enjoy it with clear information in your head.
As you read this or listen to "Seon-nye and the woodcutter", please understand grammar, pronunciation, and spelling problems!😋
Oh lastly, sorry for taking so much time to upload this---I was lazy and well, lots of tests!!
Hope you guys enjoy this story!!!

Zarin Gobi (자린고비)
A folklore, also a unique story.
"Zarin Gobi" is a very funny story and also a unique story. It's one of the popular folklores of Korea!! I hope you enjoy this story, not only because it took a lot of time for me to finish this, but also because I really enjoy this story whenever I read it.
Please understand grammar, pronunciation, and spelling problems!🙂
This is the tenth episode of this podcast, so I'm very excited but also proud. Thank you all for listening to my recordings!!
I'll be sure to come back with an another fabulous story for you to enjoy! 💜

Mangjuseog Trial(망주석 재판)
A folklore, also a hilarious story.
To be honest, I had forgotten about this story, but once I read it, I remembered it clearly. This folklore is really awesome. The title itself might not sound interesting to you, but it's one of the most funny stories. I think.
While you're listening to my episodes, you might hear some grammar problems or pronunciation problem.😅 I probably should have mentioned it in every episode, but... believe it or not, I forgot. Hehe. So yeah. I hope you enjoy this folklore as much as I did, and see you next time!! 🤩

One grain of millet(좁쌀 한 톨)
A folklore, also a spectacular story.
I really hope you enjoyed this folklore as I did long ago when I first heard this story. In case you were wondering, that instrument you hear in every episode is called 'Kalimba'. I just realized that my kalimba wasn't tuned well in my last episode, 'Deadline hill'
Since this is the first episode of 2022...
Happy new year🥳 and I hope you have an another wondrous year😀 This year, I'll translate more interesting folklores just for you guys!😍

Deadline hill(삼년고개)
A folklore, also a funny-thinking story.
I keep thinking : what if the story was true and the hill really existed? I think the answer is, a disaster. If everyone had the chance of living forever, not dying, then the world would surely be a mess. Though I'm pretty sure I would be tempted if the deadline hill really was real. Hmm...probably. Okay. Time for me to go to sleep. Before that... I'll keep talking nonsense. (Is it?)It was very exciting to translate this story. I am delighted to introduce this folkstory to you 'cause this is a very amusing topic to talk about. Also, the story itself is funny/delightful to listen to.

Magic Millstone(요술 맷돌)
A folklore, also a famous story.
Maetdol(Millstone) : 맷돌
Do you know why sea is salty? Well, if you don't know why, then listen to this story! This story is a guide to those of you who want to know why the sea has salt in its water.
The story itself is really enjoyable because it has an interesting theory to explain why sea is salty. I myself too, like this folklore.
Sorry it took almost a month to upload this episode : I kinda got lazy 😊
I'll really try not to be myself and not to be lazy. Haha really. I'll TRY.
Oh man, I'm really tired today.. so I'll have to write this quick. (And you'll also have to excuse me if I have grammer or spelling problem today. My brain is a little fuzzy right now)Oh, right. I really wanted to say this. It would be totally sweet to have the magic maetdol. I could eat anything or have anything I want whenever I want!!
Lastly, sorry that my tongue got tied a lot in this episode. Especially that 'remember' part. All that thought about chocolate and candy made my tongue harder to control.
Bye~zzz

Golden ax Silver ax(금도끼 은도끼)
A folklore, also a famous story.
Meogsoe : 먹쇠 Dolsoe : 돌쇠
Some of you might be wondering about the title. Why I didn't put ',' this or 'and' between the two words. Quite simple, actually. I wanted to put a Korean vibe into it. It's TOTALLY understandable if you don't understand what I am saying right now, cause I'm not entirely sure it I'M understanding myself right now. But anyways. This is well known among our people like 'Gyeonwoo and Jingnyeo'. But more famous than that. So I hope you enjoy this story 🙂 Oh, lastly, when I was recording this episode, I wondered if the golden ax and the Silver ax would be useful if you tried to chop the wood with it. PRO-BABLY NOT. I think Dolsoe would have sold it afterwards.
Sorry it took a while : I had lots of things going on. I'll try to post episodes once in every two weeks or so. 😊

Selene's Korean Folklore
A Trial held by a Wise Rabbit(토끼의 재판)
A folklore, also a good story.
A Trial held by a Wise Rabbit(토끼의 재판) is one of my favorite Korean folklores. I especially like the rabbit, because when I first read it, I didn't know that the rabbit was playing innocent and stupid to get the tiger go inside the box(괘짝). I had trouble explaining seonbi(선비), because people think differently about this certain word. Anyway, I really enjoyed translating this story, and I will try to upload episodes every two weeks or so. 🙂 I hope you enjoy this story!

A folklore, also a funny story
The magic(요술) fan(부채). It's a creative story. It took me awhile because of some mechanical problems. Sorry if I make pronounciation problems! In this story, there are beautiful ladies called Seonnyeo. Make sure you remember them! 'Cause they appear in many Korean folklores. I picked the story because I need some magic nowadays. I'll try to upload soon. I hope you'll enjoy the story :)

This time, it took me a while to translate this story. Seeing that it took a lot of time, I hope you guys enjoy this story!😀 'The Tiger(호랑이) and the Gojgam(곶감)' is a very interesting story. And I wanted to introduce this story to you. While reading the story though, I really wanted to eat Gojgam(곶감)... Also, look at the cow! Hilarious..

Korean folklore, also a love story
There was a maiden named Jingnyeo(직녀) who was good at weaving fabrics. There also was a young man called Gyeonwoo(견우), who was good with cows. This story is about their sad and tragic love story.
