Jesus uses the word "like" not as a filler word like we do, but to show us how the Kingdom of God is. Fr. James Manley explains how these parables are bringing about the Kingdom of God in our world even today.

Our Gospel this morning is a Markan sandwich of Jesus's family coming to collect him, and the Pharisees who accused him of working black magic. The stories seem unrelated, but Fr. Bob Ayres shows us how they tell us more about who Jesus is and who we are than we might first guess.

As servants, we don't serve those around us for the sake of serving them. We serve Jesus and as we serve Him, those around us will be served. Fr. David Trautman explains about servanthood in his sermon.

Our curate of the last three and a half years, Fr. Michael Mayo, preached his last sermon as curate on this Trinity Sunday. We are incredibly grateful for the way he has poured into our congregation. Servants would not be where it is now - growing and thriving - if he had not joined our staff in 2021. He will be missed in ways that we can't even begin to understand now, and it's also true that we know that God is preparing the next congregation Michael will serve and we trust it will be another perfect fit.

It can be tempting to just watch life go by, but Jesus did not die on the cross and resurrect from the dead, so we could watch our lives pass us by. Fr. David Trautman invites us to consider the part we are called to play in God's Kingdom.

Creation is complete when humans are a part of it, but creation does not belong to humans, but to God. As Christians, creation care isn't simply a nice thing we can do, but it is a calling on every believer.
