Hey, Sister-friend ๐๐ฝ
Is it just me, or are you finding that life is becoming more distracting? There is always something to think about, do, or solve. I was finding that my mind was getting preoccupied with all the things in my day and world, and it was robbing my peace. At the end of the day, I felt like there were more things to do than I got done, and I did not like where my head was, so I decided to apply 5 daily practices that have shifted my mindset, giving me more peace and allowing me to declare each day as a success.
I hope these practices are supportive for you.

Hey Sister-Friend,
Today we get to explore the foundations of trauma healing. In this episode, I will share the foundation that Christian women should base their healing on and how to build that foundation.
I talk about the first 2 pillars of trauma healing so you know what to look for and what to expect as you take (or consider taking) your first step toward healing.
Knowing the psychoeducation about how the traumatized body heals best gives hope to those seeking help.
The first two pillars will be discussed today and tune in next week for the last two pillars.
The foundation on which we build healing โ as you may have guessed- is knowing God as he truly is and your identity in him. I will share tips on how you can become more grounded in both areas.
Pillar number 1 is relational safety and preparation. I will share why this is essential in trauma treatment.
The second pillar is education and skills building. It is also important to understand the biological and physiological impacts of trauma on the body and how the state of the body directly influences oneโs behaviour and actions. This will help you let go of any guilt, shame or frustration around any responses to triggering events. Instead, you will gain a new understanding of how to work with your body before you reach a state of upset or dysregulation.
I enjoyed producing this episode and I hope you find it educational and helpful.
Blessings and Love
Jenniel

Hey, Sister-friend ๐๐ฝ
Today, let's talk about something real, something maybe a little raw: trusting God when life feelsโฆwell, not so trusting.
You've been hurt in the past, youโve dealt with some heavy stuff, and now the idea of trusting anyone, let alone God, feels like a big, fat "NOPE!" Been there, believe me. But here's the thing: I believe the healing journey for women of faith includes learning to trust God and his plan, and calling for our lives.
So, let's explore some ways to rebuild that trust, bit by bit
I hope this episode blesses and inspires you.

Hey, Sister-friend ๐๐ฝ
Why is it important to develop a growth mindset?
The simple answer is - if you donโt believe your mind can change and grow, you wonโt be as open to the life you can have beyond your trauma.
Trauma has a way of making survivors believe that things wonโt get better, circumstances wonโt change, you will be this way for the rest of your life. That is a very discouraging way to go through life, but the good news is, that is not the truth.
You do have the ability to change, heal and grow and it starts with believing that you can and that things can get better.
Today I talk about shifting from a fixed mindset that wants you to believe change is not possible to embrace a growth mindset of possibilities
I will provide 5 tips on how to do that.
I hope this episode blesses you.
