Whether you have a slow awakening that allows you to be gently curious about what spirituality looks like for you, or it feels like being hit by a truck and you're in a sink or swim scenario, a spiritual awakening can be deeply uncomfortable AND incredibly fulfilling.
It is becoming much more socially acceptable to talk about spirituality, so we thought we would share our thoughts on what a spiritual awakening is, and our own stories of awakening...
Spoiler alert: TOTALLY different experiences.
Whether you've experienced something similar, something totally different, or are going through an awakening now, finding people to support you through the process can make a huge difference. If you would like support with your own awakening, book a call with one of us and let's talk about what you need.

There's a lot of people out in the mainstream spiritual space, the people who have laid the groundwork for spiritual conversation, and who have gone forward and provided all of their wisdom and knowledge, who have then gone and almost made it impossible for us to admit that we are human.
Because we are human, shit happens. All the time. And life happens.
We can sometimes get stuck in this space of having to be grateful, and raise our vibration, and all of those kinds of things.
Fuck that. Sometimes, I just want to be angry.
This week, Erin gets a wee bit soapbox-y about toxic positivity, spiritual gaslighting, and why admitting that you're not okay, is perfectly okay.
Have you ever felt like spirituality makes it hard to admit you're not okay? Send us an email at [email protected] - would love to hear about your experiences!!

There's no point just following someone else's set of rules and their plan of what worked for them, because actually, all businesses are different, all people are different, and we have to be more willing to stand in our own power and do what feels right and aligned for us, rather than just doing what someone else tells us to.
We have been working with a business coach for some time, and found that actually, stepping away from following the path she sets out for others, and finding the path that feels more aligned with who we are and what we want to be as a business has changed everything. Including our thoughts on whether a business coach is a necessary investment early on, especially when you are a personal brand.
In this conversation we talk about our own experience with that, why we believe that hiring a business coach isn't necessarily the right move, and what we think might help you get further, faster.
Have you hired a business coach and found that you ended up on a path that didn't quite feel right? If so, we would love to hear about it! Send us an email at [email protected] or jump on an exploration call with us - we'd love to connect!

With all of the debate raging in the US about the law surrounding abortion, and Roe vs. Wade, we felt called to discuss what we think underpins all of the conflict - body autonomy, and a woman's right to choose.
While this is a hugely divisive conversation at times, and we are all fatigued by conflict and the massive challenges humanity has faced (and continues to face) over the past few years, we felt compelled to discuss this because it comes down to one thing for us:
No one has the right to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her own body. Period.
We are conscious that the content of this discussion might feel triggering or upsetting to some listeners, so please exercise discretion when listening, and if you wish to skip this episode, we get it, and we honour you for taking care of yourself - we look forward to having you back with us next week!
In the meantime, whether you listen to this episode or decide to skip it, we would LOVE to know what you think! Please rate, review, and hit subscribe so you get notified every week when our new episodes drop!

There's always that sort of stereotypical middle aged male having a midlife crisis and he goes and buys a red sports car and dates a secretary for a while. For women, it's a little bit more complex, because I think we're only just realizing now and there's a rising consciousness around this, that acknowledging that we are feeling discomfort or acknowledging that we are not 100% happy, even if we have access to joy, is actually perfectly okay.
Feeling like you are having some kind of mid-life crisis is not something most of us will admit to... but many of us will experience some kind of crumbling, awakening, shifting sense of who we are and what we are here for, somewhere in our late 30's to early 50's.Join us for a conversation about how crisis can become course correction and why we need to be acknowledging this more, for ourselves AND those around us.
If you have been feeling like you are heading for a course correction, whether you're in the space of discomfort, or full blown crumbling... we would love to invite you to our Cycle of Self program. A self-directed online program, Cycle of Self is a combination of video content, meditations, and workbooks that will help you move from awareness that something is rising within you, to growing into the next level of who you are.

"MANY of my clients are young, female athletes and their mom and I'm passionate about that because girls drop out of sport at 6X the rate of boys. I'm teaching them to face 3 F words: FAKE, FEAR, FEEL. Sport teaches us to "FAKE it till you make it" which means avoid your FEAR and hide how you FEEL. I think that's ridiculous! How in the world are we supposed become emotionally intelligent when we are faking, avoiding and hiding?? I'm also helping moms see how they unintentionally put their fears onto their kids which really hinders them in sport (and life). It's time to shift from fear to FIERCE!!"
Some time ago, we were fortunate to sit with Shawnee Harle and hear how her work with young athletes is changing their lives, and the lives of their parents, through greater emotional intelligence and embracing courage and confidence. This conversation is one of our favourites since we started recording SHE is Wise, and Shawnee embodies our message and mission perfectly.
Enjoy the conversation!
About Shawnee Harle:
I'm a two Olympian and a Mental Toughness Coach. I teach people to Win from Within so they show up with courage and confidence when it matters most.

Today we are going to dive into something that is pretty fundamental to all the work that we do, and what we believe, so it's quite a big conversation.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
But what does that even mean? And what does knowing that change for us?
If you would like to know more about what we do, and how we bring this concept into our work, check out our website.

Self worth is a recurring theme in pretty much everything we do, and quite often it is framed with a lack of worthiness. As women, lack of self worth or a sense of unworthiness is something that often shows up in our lives, in a number of different ways. In today's conversation, we go deeper into what self worth actually is, and why it is so important... and so hard to attain!!
If self worth is something you struggle with, or if you would like more info about the SHE Pathway program mentioned in today's episode, you can get more info here: https://www.awakeningthewisewoman.com/she-pathway

When you want something so much, you get fixated on that one thing and don't leave any room for the Universe to work her magic.
Believing anything is possible is about embracing your whole self, your spiritual self and your intuition that guides you forward when your humanness places limitations on you. The biggest mistake we make when trying to manifest the life we want is to get too stuck in "this is the only way it can be."
Today's conversation is all about why believing anything is possible is absolutely key to getting what we truly desire, and how we can go about accessing that belief.
If you're ready to believe anything is possible for you, but don't know how to get started, our 6 week group journey, the SHE Pathway, is for you! The next round starts April 25th, and we would love to see you there. Join us here: https://www.awakeningthewisewoman.com/she-pathway

In today's episode, we let you in on what has been happening for us behind the scenes post-launch, and what we will be focusing our energy on moving forward. This episode is all about recognising that the path you're on isn't serving you the way you would like, and how you can course correct and realign yourself from a place of power and making a conscious choice!
If this resonates with you, and you're feeling like perhaps there is a course correction and realignment needed in your life, we would love to invite you to check out our blog about courage in the face of change.
