This week Anna is joined by comedian and one third of Pappy's, the joyful Tom Parry, to discuss the 1987 film Mannequin. Yes, Kim Cattrall is an ancient Egyptian who comes back to life as a department store dummy by a 24-year-old man-child. But is it still legit? We discuss writers wet dreams, unnecessary grand pianos, and the Tom Parry Pulling Technique. The eyes and the mouth, guys, the eyes and the mouth!

Is that... hair gel? No, it's the Farrelly Brother's classic There's Something About Mary! Is it Still Legit? Anna is joined by the excellent Helen Bauer to talk hamster stockings, spotting red flags and the R word, while learning about the relative virtues of our respective boob sizes. What more could you ask for, hey?

In some slightly off-beat Christmas programming, Anna is joined by actor and comedian Freya Parker to discuss the MADNESS that is the Goldie Hawn film, Overboard. We discuss kidnapping as revenge, tiny strips of t-shirt and when your fake kids think you've got a nice ass. And just - WOW. wow. This film.

For the first episode of series 2 Anna is joined by tiny bundle of joy that is comedian and actor Rosie Jones to chat the Disney animated classic, Beauty and the Beast. Is it still legit? We discuss Chip's absent father, big titted milkmaids and Gaston *definitely* being a sexual predator. Tale as old as time, innit?

Anna and Emily consider the tricky question of BIPOC actors playing characters with typically "white" names. Is it liberating? Or is it whitewashing? They also manage to thumb in some chat on banana bread and baby farts.
Listen to our 4th July 2020 episode "Big Mouth, Bojack, Cleveland: Race in Animation" minisode to hear more chat about mismatched characters.
Once again we apologise for the poor sound quality on this episode. Anna is basically having to leap at Emily with a recorder whilst a baby is attached to her boob in order to get a recording in so please, have a heart.

Arnold Shwarzenegger gets his first Still Legit outing with the 90’s sci-fi-fest, Total Recall, and the girls talk turning into bushes, sex bunnies and Wayne Lineker's shopping list as they try to determine whether Arnie's Still Legit.
Apologies again for the patchy sound- it was a less than ideal set up and we did what we had to do!

We take a break from normal programming for an extended "Yalright" check in with the new mum - and the first podcast recorded face to face since the pilot episode! Baby Robin keeps us company while we discuss secondary sexual features, baby foals vs. baby humans, and God's scrambled eggs, plus how Emily convinced her boobs she had twins. We'll be back to regular programming next week!
NB: For our eagle eared listeners (do eagles have ears? anyway) - this was recorded without our usual set up so please forgive the less than perfect audio!

Emily once again shirks her real responsibilities (a comedy podcast) to kick back and relax (keep her newborn alive) so Anna alone is joined by comedian, writer, actor and fellow rabid Jim Carrey fan Jack Barry to talk Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls. Is it Still Legit? We talk barbershop etiquette, invent the Brophy Test and decide that everyone is a 10 (you're welcome, everyone) whilst questioning our teenage taste in films.

Emily are you there? ARE YOU THERE EMILY? Emily abandons Anna in order to have a baby, but luckily Rosie Holt (actor and viral sensation with her satirical sketches absolutely KILLING IT on the social meeds) stepped into the breach as Anna's guest. Listen as Anna repays her kindness by ripping her childhood fave Pretty Woman to absolute shreds, as we talk migraine diets, leg length trauma, and Stuckey's (metaphorical) tail. Is it still legit though?

We catch up with TJ, Gretchen, Vince, Gus, Spinelli and Mikey, navigate Sarah through the peaks and troughs of a mood swing and find out why Anna was called Spinelli at school, and discuss savage babies.

Anna and Emily are joined by the brilliant comedian Sophie Duker to climb inside her childhood fave Mrs. Doubtfire as if it were a problematic disguise worn by a desperate father and ask, is it Still Legit? The brilliant comedian Evelyn Mok joins Anna and Emily to discuss Rush Hour, a heartwarming tale of two friends being racist to each other. Is that Still Legit? We chat colonial white guy baddies, camel hump and inexplicably fancy cars, and Anna and Evelyn realise that bleaching their hair has set them on the path to being evil sidekicks.

A recent YouGov poll revealed that people from ethnic Chinese backgrounds are more likely than any other minority group both to report hearing someone imitate their accent or make assumptions about their behaviour based on their ethnicity. Anna and Emily stray down the rabbit hole (as it were) - of the #FreeBritney (Spears) movement/conspiracy. It's only a tiny issue that they don't know how to pronounce conservatorship and that's what the whole episode is about. Is the 'movement' legit? Is it OK to be amused by Britney's Insta? And is she trying to tell anyone anything other than she likes short shorts?

This week Anna and Emily are joined by special guest, Mawaan Rizwaan - Writer for Sex Education (Netflix), Comedian (Live at The Apollo, Hammersmith Apollo supporting Queer Eye's JVN), Actor (really you need more credits?) and soon to be contestant on C4's Taskmaster (currently filming).
This weeks ep is all about Sabrina the Teenage Witch. On the quest to find out if it's still legit we think more about Salem the cat as a ol' pervert, Britney Spears' strange cameo and what really is flan?

And if you like it...don't you dare leave without a rate and review of the podcast you scamps.

This week Anna and Emily are joined by comedian Chloe Petts, a Matrix virgin, to ask whether the film is Still Legit. She endures the pair's Matrix geekery by regaling them with tales of smoke machines and laser pens and ruining Emily's dreams of being able to fly. They also touch upon scorching the sky (just don't do it guys), Switch's inability to camouflage, and whether the human race really *is* a virus. Top notch stuff.

This week Anna and Emily go back and visit the film AND the book of Bridget Jones Diary. Oh and Pride and Prejudice... in a way. Dredging up memories of break-up songs, celebrating Anna's 20/20 vision and discussing how that iconic fight scene would go down in Harlseden. The real question of course is - is it still legit?

This week Anna and Emily are riding the racial rollercoaster that is 2004 Best Picture Oscar winner, Crash. Is it Still Legit? On the way we chat super slo-mo, white heroes, and the Cat Killer of Croydon (sorry, the M25).
