In this episode, we sit down with King Adz, an author and film director who has been documenting street culture since the 2000s. He was the first to lift the lid of street art, producing a film about Blek le Rat which subsequently brought him to the masses and unveiled the blossoming street art culture of the 2000s. From there, his books and films have captured all elements of street culture, from fashion and food to street art and youth-grown subcultures.
According to King Adz, street art imploded in the 2010s. What’s interesting now is what’s happening outside of the mainstream.
